28.01.13 Ølkonsortiets julekalender. Uts: mørk, mørk bronse, masse beige skum, rikelig kullsyre. Duft: fyldig, tydelig humle og tørket frukt, sødme. Smak: middels fyldig, malt og humle, lite smak, men varig ettersmak.

UPDATED: MAY 14, 2013 33cl bottle, Geers. Pours dark ruby / mahogany. Beige head, dense & creamy. Spicy nose, biscuit malts. spicy sour aroma, something weird. Lacks harmony, harsh palate. Rerate: not as harsh as the previous rate. +0.2

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Dark brown to black colour, dense light-beige head. Aroma of caramel, dusty malts, light toast, light fruity, hint of spices. Flavour is medium sweet, toast, earth, light roasted malts, caramel, light floral, light spicy, light bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Poured a murky deep brown with a frothy tan head. Aroma of soft caramel malt and spices. Medium body, smooth oily mouthfeel. Flavour of bitter roast caramel malt and some spice with a slow, lingering spicey aftertaste.

Belle mousse crémeuse et dense. Nez frais et floral, n’annonçant pas un monstre de puissance. Bouche solide, très riche (céréales), sur des notes très torréfiées en première approche et franchement fumées en finale. Impression générale d’une Guiness made in Belgium.

Bottle. Poured a clear brown color with an average to large frothy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt and spice and nuts aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted sweet spice flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectation where met.

Bottle @ christmas. Jeej. Aroma is big christmasy christmas. Some buttery christmas christmas spice in the flavour. Overall pretty christmas. Christmas.

Bottle at home. Clear deep dark reddish brown to black pour, foamy off-white head. Aroma is spicy, roasted malts, bready yeast, ripe fruits, some cardamom and a hint of licorice. Flavor is bitter, roasted, sweet spicy malts, sugary and with a decent body. Well balanced, decently carbonated. Well drinkable.

Bottle shared. Pours hazy brown with a tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, yeast, some fruit. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Efi bodied with soft carbonation.
