Draft from the brewery. Served in a pint glass, this brew has a nice hop and malt balance. Notes of grass an caramel. Thanks to the low abv, this is on the watery side.

Caramel and light hop aroma. Light caramel/sweet flavor; a little hop fruit flavor; moderate bitterness. More "Pale Ale" in color.

Beautiful amber color, fresh hoppy taste clean finish. Left me wanting to drink another one. It did have a bit of sediment in the bottle but I don’t really mind that, it gives me the homemade feeling.

Amber pour, mostly white head. Aroma has some light toasted grain and nuts and maybe a hint of a buckwheat honey. Flavor is stale, some light bready notes, honey. Not enjoyable.

Bottle:   Dirty amber, fine sediment floats about, large frothy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Homebrew like nose, soft sweet graininess and thats about it.   Plain malt like flavors, some minor powdery sugar like notes.   Thin, without much body.   Finishes like slightly malty water.   Not much about this is entertaining.   Slight astringent maltiness at the finish.   Yeah, not what I was hoping for.   Thanks for the freebie Dallas!

BlackHaddock (2365) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 20, 2012
June 2010: On tap in ’The Bit and Spur’, Springdale, outside Zion NP. Pint glass of slightly hazy amber coloured beer, off-white, thinning head sat on top. The aroma was fizzy mix of malted biscuits, brown toast and citrus hop esters. The flavours within the beer mirrored the smells, including the fizzy bit, it seemed over carbonated to my English palate (used to cask stuff I suppose). Pleasant enough, but not a beer I looked for again while in Utah. Complimented my Pasta meal well and I’d recommend the food before this beer.

Courtesy of hellbilly. Pours semi hazy copper with white head. The mild aroma emits some tartness from something like peach fruit and then a hint of cherries. The taste has a nice malt roastiness followed by peach and apricot notes. Toward the finish it seems to get somewhat tart with a tannin like quality.

Gription79 (1604) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - DEC 30, 2011
12 ounce bottle.
Aroma: fruity yeast, bready malts
Appearance: great clarity, copper in color
Taste: bready, hint of caramel, toasted malts, fruity
Palate: lively carbonation, thin
Overall: meh, not much going on, no real flaws just a lifeless beer
