UPDATED: SEP 13, 2007 Bottled 0,50L. Compact and adherent foam, discreet resistance. Yellow golden color, much luminous and bright. Not much decided scent but with agreeable notes of malt, barley, dry grassy and alcohol. Pungent taste, slightly lean but with satisfactory body and tenor. Bitter and refreshing final of medium duration.

One of the three Zipfers I tried in Austria and propably this was the weakest. Very light yellow/golden color (like all the Zipfers) Malty but lacking a lot of flavour for a Maerzen.

Flowery sweet. Round flavour with peaches and apricaots. Unlikely to offend, unlikely to be anyone’s favourite.

Very light hop and malt aroma. Light gold. Flavor is light malt; probably better cold. Very light palate. For their version of cheap beer, not bad; and quite pleasant on the train watching the Austrian countryside pass by.

(bottle) Clear and pale golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Light sweet malty aroma with a note of grassy hops. Slightly sweet malty, light hoppy, medium dry finish. Drinkable but rather boring.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2008 Gift from Rimke and Jur, who took this beer home from Austria. Grainy aroma with some hops and mango. Medium bodied. Sweetish. Grainy, vinous flavor. Grapes, hint of hops, mango. Can, bought in Austria. Pale blonde. Grainy aroma with apple and a hint of syrup. Sweetish, grainy flavor with apple syrup. Thinnish, some aluminium in the aftertaste. Mediocre.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Nice yellowish golden beer without much head. Lots of sweet malt in a fine balance with some discreet hops. Not excactly thrilling but rather pleasant though. 150505

Fresh and light hoppy aroma. Golden color. Sweetness, good drinkable, smooth. Quite overall but thirst quenching.

Golden coloured. Malty aroma. Sweet, well rounded and smooth with some bitterness in the finish.

A light orange beer with a nice beige head. The aroma is rather hoppy and grassy and very fresh. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel and a nice bitter hoppy end, but the body is thin.
