Bottle, 5%. OK malty aroma, some bread, hint of aroma hops. Clear yellow colour, OK stable white head. The flavour is mildly malty, hint of grain in the finish. Sweeter and slightly maltier than a pale lager, but not quite a Märzen IMO.

SilkTork (5156) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 9, 2008
500ml bottle from Shropshire. Vintage 1996. Soft carbonation. Few hops, and little sign of hop ageing - no cardboard flavours or crude bitterness. Little sign of ageing in the malt. A gentle sweetness, and a firmish body for a pale lager. Cereal quality. Not unpleasant at all - quite drinkable, though the lack of character, and the sweetness eventually start to drag.
