Bottle @ Billa, Vienna. Pours clear pale yellow with a small white head. Paperbag and rough grain. Thin and watery.

Pale yellow with a small white head. Grainy malt aroma with DMS and a fruity hint. Sweetish malty flavour with some hay, a touch of sugar and a faint tart sourness

Light aroma and taste of malt and grassy hops. The aftertaste is slightly dry. Not very good.

Can 500ml (BB 11/2011)
Golden color, vanishing white head. Sweet fruity, pear aroma - like a lemonade. Light bodied, fizzy. Sweet fruity malty, worty, pear-.like fruityness, strong taste of metal. Medicore.

Canned (thanks CN!). Hazy yellow, small white head. Aroma is grains, some sweet apples, mild bready notes as well as mild papery notes. Flavour is very much the same with the grainy and papery notes being more evident. Not that harsh, but far from anything I’d like to have again.

Bottle. Clear yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops and with a watery palate.

From the can, from 01 June 2011. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter, extremely soft medium body, smooth and creamy. Pour was pale yellow/golden, clear with a brilliant white head. There’s not a lot of complexity here, just a smooth, malt-forward offering, but if we had beers of 3% and this quality in the States, I’d be a marginally happier man.
