Compact foam of medium persistence. Yellow gold color; limpid and little shining. Simple aspect. Ordinary scent of malt, much classic and easy one. Bitter and refreshing taste. Medium fizzy and bitter finish. As soon as sufficient.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at some random bar in Vienna. Very light color with a minimal head. Aroma is grainy with a slight bit of spicy hops, and maybe some of that traditional european yeast smell (slight skunkiness but not really). smooth malty flavor with a wierd grainy cereal taste which left a slightly harsh aftertaste.

Tried it under the Zipfer Orginal name. Pale yellow colour, little to please the nose, a bit of hops and a bit of malt. Fresh but short in aftertaste.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hoppy-fresh aroma. Golden color. Pleasant hopp, spicy taste, light malty. Llight bitter aftertaste. A pleasant beer, but for me more a pils than a normal lager.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Subtle hops/grain aroma. Dark yellow color and nice white head. Watery, grainy flavor with a slight bitter finish but grew on me as I drank more. Not bad but don’t look too hard for it.

Very similar to the Märzen. Pale gold, decent head. Pleasant enough lager.
