On tap at some random bar in Vienna. Very light color with a minimal head. Aroma is grainy with a slight bit of spicy hops, and maybe some of that traditional european yeast smell (slight skunkiness but not really). smooth malty flavor with a wierd grainy cereal taste which left a slightly harsh aftertaste.

Tried it under the Zipfer Orginal name. Pale yellow colour, little to please the nose, a bit of hops and a bit of malt. Fresh but short in aftertaste.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hoppy-fresh aroma. Golden color. Pleasant hopp, spicy taste, light malty. Llight bitter aftertaste. A pleasant beer, but for me more a pils than a normal lager.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Subtle hops/grain aroma. Dark yellow color and nice white head. Watery, grainy flavor with a slight bitter finish but grew on me as I drank more. Not bad but don’t look too hard for it.

50 cl. bottle. Served in small sample glass.
Very similar to the Märzen. Pale gold, decent head. Pleasant enough lager.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Wow, we can’t find a decent pilsener in Autria. Every one we have tried is kind of like this one: boring!!!! Stale pale yellow in color, nothing going on with this one. Skunky smell, too many poor quality hops. Taste is too light, too much carbonation...leads to unpleasant consequences. Don’t like this one much!

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I'm pretty sure this is the beer I have. The 5.4% gave it away. Not too much on the nose. Seems like a lager with a bit of hops. Pours pale gold with a decent but diminishing head. Sweet body. Quite a sour kind of punch to it. Not what I expected. Not as bitter as other pilsners, but pretty decent.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Very pale colour, not much head but some clumpy lacing on the glass.
Very little aroma, some cooked spaghetti.
Lean but solid malt flavour. Dryish, balanced finish, some hops in there. Light body. Nice, but hardly exciting.
