33 cl bottle. Clear golden colour with a huge white head. Sweet malty aroma with notes of grass. Sweet flavour with a bitter finish, very ordinary, but sweet.

Poured from can. Pours a clear yellow-gold with very minimal carbonation and a very minimal head. Smells very grassy and slightly hoppy. Taste is actually a little complex. Malty up front, finishing hoppy and a little sweet. Kind of intriguing. Nevertheless, I lump it in with a lot of the other Austrian beers I’ve had. They all taste remarkably similar. Ever heard of variety, Oesterreich?

50cl bottle in Vienna. Average euro lager across looks, aroma and flavour. Maybe a little sweeter and less skunk than other examples though.

Clear, yellow coloured beer with little carbonation and a medium white head. Grassy sweeter hoppy aroma. Medium palate. Finish is sweet bitter hoppy with a rather dry and short ending. Overall a medium lager.

The bottle looks not spectacular but good. The beer in the glass also. Very zippy. Tastes fresh and modest dry in a very interesting way. I like that beer.

01/01 0.5 l bottle from Spar in Semriach. Let’s see this one...had pale golden body with tiny head disappearing quickly. Aroma of some malt, corny, little bit hopped, quite ordinary and so familiar. Flavor well balanced, bit tending to sweet, nothing much in here, but quite pleasant. Finish is medium long, just a bit sweetish. Could be somewhat more carbonated. Unlike "Medium" crap, this is really a beer, and let’s say fine for a pale lager.

A golden lager with a thin white head. A sweetish aroma of corn. In mouth, A mineral light beer, with loads of adjunct. Metallic afternotes. Light bodied. Bought at Carrefour, Bogota, 1900 COP.

300ml vom Fass at Taverna O’ Christos in Wien. Crystal clear, straw body. Shy cover of white, lacing foam. Discreet aromatic nuances of hops and malts. Same goes for the flavour - it’s dry hopped with grapefruit hints and malts beneath. Good lager (04.12.2007).

Canned 50cl. It pours a yellow beer with a white head. Lemon, pineapple and hops in the aroma. The taste is extremely mild. Weak body. Very easy drinkable. Nice balance between sourness and bitterness. Slight hints of dark bread, hay and peaches in the taste. Not much strength to this beer.. The finish is clear and dry leaving a hint of lemon. Refreshing and very easy drinkable in any case. A beer I will purchase again.

Canned. Pale golden colour, small white head. Aroma is slightly bready and sweet malty with some hints of grass and hay. Flavour is malty and hoppy, and that’s pretty much it. Pleasant balance, but not very special.
