Subtle hops/grain aroma. Dark yellow color and nice white head. Watery, grainy flavor with a slight bitter finish but grew on me as I drank more. Not bad but don’t look too hard for it.

A secret favorite of mine, nice flavor to this one, hopped quite well for the style, malty aftertaste, great with meat dishes(sausages). Great drinker.

Pours a clear golden color, toppedwith average frothy white head. Mild malty aroma some notes of grains - pretty basic. tsate is just a tad sweet at first, followed by a decent bitterness in teh finish, Crisp and refreshing, one of the best classic Austrian lagers.

.5L pour from chilled bottle into dimpled mug in Austria. Yellow and clear with a fizzy and fluffy white head. Nose is sweet malts with a hint of piney hops. Medium body, fairly creamy, and a bit crisp. Taste is sweet biscuit up front with a hoppy bitterness in the back. Not bad, though not amazing.

.5L bottles bought in St Anton MPreis. Smells of grass, grains and light hops. Pours pale golden yellow with an understated white head. Classic bavarian lager taste, nicely sour. Light and drinkable, fizzy carbonation with a long finish. Perfect after skiing big mountains.

Can from Billa. Pale amber, tight and foamy white head. Spicy and woody aroma, slightly herbal. Flavour is sweet, smooth and creamy malt, then finishes surprisingly bitter in a herbal kind of way. Actually quite enjoyed it.

0,5l blik op wintersport in 2015. Goudgeel pisbier, met een mooi hopbitter en goede moutbasis. Beste die ik me zo snel kan herinneren hierbgedronken te hebben

0,33l bottle. I had the Original Import version with the "ein glas heller freude" label tag line. Pale yellow colour with quickly disppearing small white head. Aroma: Intense honey with notes of elderflower. I’m surprised. Taste: Sweet malty with a very light bitter mouthfeel. The malty caracter is very strong, not the usual pale lager taste. A bit spicey (pepper) too. Light body with fizzy carbonation. Medium lasting sweet/sour and a bit dry finish. It was a surprise for me, I expected something watery and typical lager but this is better.
