Zipline Brewing Co.’s Copper Alt. is a unique ale/lager hybrid. This bronzed brew is unfiltered, and designed to be extremely drinkable, with subtle nuances of chocolate and hazelnut. A late gift of Sterling hops in this brew leaves a little hoppiness for your palate to ponder before the next sip.

Clear copper pour with a 1 finger beige head. Aroma of caramel, bready, toast, light fruity esters and spicy and planty hops. Flavor is nutty and lightly roasty up front, then some caramel, crusty bread, cereal, some fruity, floral and herbal hops and a light minerality to the finish. Light body, creamy, to slightly syrupy entry, medium carbonation and dry finish. Solid brew overall.

This beer is an instant classic, bringing back the North German Altbier style to modern brewing. This pseudo lager pours crystal clear mahogany in hue with an off white head. The taste is very unique combo of slight hazelnut and chocolate with a crisp but light floral hop tone. Very easy drinking brew.
