2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours slightly hazy light amber with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops with a skunky note to it. Sweetish, malty flavour with estery and sourish, grainy notes. Regular but mild hoppy notes. Mildly bitter finish. OK but I prefer the Landbier from the same brewery.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
50cl bottle, bb 03/2014. Decent enough murky Keller with all elements in place (bready malts, toast, overall earthy flavours), less distinct hop profile than many prime Franconian Kellers. overall rather moorish, with muffled aromas. Shame about the hop extract. Expected this to be more special since it is advertised as a special guest tap in a few Coburg Bierbars that want to offer something different than Mönchsbraäu or Paulaner...

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Half litre bottle, poured into pint glass.
A: Amber, orange, hazy, small fading off white head, retained some lacing.
S: Initial fresh north German pils like smell was replaced by brown sugar and molasses.
T: Brown sugar, cranberry, slight bitterness, wheat and charcol came through at the finish.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, fairly crisp - Easy drinker.
O: Pretty solid Kellerbier, all aspects faded towards the end but it still worked.
