2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2010 Bottle. It pours an almost amber body, clear, and with a finger-thick off-white head. Some cellar in the aroma, with a little caramel, and a good breadyness running the show. Cellar, bread and caramel in the mouth, all quite weak, and slightly sourish. Medium body. Some bitterness to finish it. A boring and all over weak beer that aren’t refreshing either. Guess some food is required. Rating: 4-3-4-3-8-2.2. 100108
Bottle. It’s a clear, dark golden beer, quite carbonated, with a big, dense, off-white head on top. Caramel and some malts in the aroma, hops too, in a generic way. Caramel and a little bitterness keeps the pale malts company in the mouth, medium bodied, a bit over carbonated and quite dry. Bitter finish. A nice one, but one-dimensional. 100327

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
The bottle looks simple, almost like a cheap beer. The beer in the glass is okay, nice head. Starts malty-moldy, hoppy-dry background, finish wheaty-spicy, a little bit drier. Some cinnamon notes. Could be more spicy, but still a good beer!

Clear amber with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, hints of caramel, nuts and grassy hops. Flavour was quite full with roasted malt, caramel, grassy hops and breadish notes. Finished dry and bitter. Really enjoyed this one.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, 5.0%. Spicy aroma, seemingly sourish hops. Clear dark amber colour. Big stable off-white head. The flavour has a bit of malt, but also tastes a bit like a cheap vienna. A little aniseed in the finish. High carbonation.

Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a lightly cloudy golden body. Long lasting head retention and considerable carbonation. Malty aroma. Almost buttery mouthfeel.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
0,5 l bottle, bought at a petrolstation’s shop, Germany.
Poured clear amber with a medium off white lacing head. Sourish yeast and grains, malt and caramel in the nose with a floral hop perfume.. Medium body, caramel and malt give the base for an easy drinkable, consumable beer with a mild hop and some sourish yeast taste. Not the biggest deal in my beerlife, but nice, drinkable one.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark golden color with a small cream head. Some lacing. Smell was some sweaty socks, malt, and brown sugar. Taste was definately nutty with a sweet malt and bitter hop balance that was pleasant. Overall good beer.
