4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Srong caramelized apple and grass aroma. Amber, big bubbles, golden lacing foam. Fruity entry, like a applepie, grassy hops to counter the sweet caramel, toasted nd flowery retronasal. Chewy bready mouthfeel with sparkles. This is a great brew, wellbalanced flavorfull and moreish. The only thing missing is a light mineral edge.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The beer in glass is amber colored, a beautiful blend of yellow, red and light brown. The foam has fine pores and does not consider himself particularly long. It smells strongly malty and grainy. Starts strong malty at first, then will add a strong grain note. The beer is delicately spicy.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bread crust and cardboard aroma like a dunkles Bier. Clear bronze under a thin, off-white cover. Flavour is also like a dunkle: bread crust and biscuity malt with a little bit of cardboard and watermelon. Nutty notes come in late, but they are not subtle. Light to medium body, very low bitterness, bready finish, moderate carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured with amber color, much like wild-honey with white head that dissolves quickly. Malty aroma with fruits like peach, melon, white grapes that blends with yeast, and a slighly soury aftertaste. Sweet overall, low carbonation. A pleasant surprise.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2010 Bottle. It pours an almost amber body, clear, and with a finger-thick off-white head. Some cellar in the aroma, with a little caramel, and a good breadyness running the show. Cellar, bread and caramel in the mouth, all quite weak, and slightly sourish. Medium body. Some bitterness to finish it. A boring and all over weak beer that aren’t refreshing either. Guess some food is required. Rating: 4-3-4-3-8-2.2. 100108
Bottle. It’s a clear, dark golden beer, quite carbonated, with a big, dense, off-white head on top. Caramel and some malts in the aroma, hops too, in a generic way. Caramel and a little bitterness keeps the pale malts company in the mouth, medium bodied, a bit over carbonated and quite dry. Bitter finish. A nice one, but one-dimensional. 100327
