Mar 23, 2006 Bottle on train from Frankfurt to Bamberg. Light golden, orange color and very clear. Nice white head. Delicious malt aroma. The flavor is earthy, malty, mild sweetness (Vienna, malt-like), medium hop bitterness. Pretty tasty beer.

Aug 17, 2005 Bottled. An amber coloured beer with a nice white fluffy head on first pouring. The aroma is on the sweet side but some nice grainy and hoppy notes are present too. The taste is quite full bodied with good sweet malt characters. A tasty easy drinking beer.

May 18, 2008 Bottle. Golden with a small head. Aromas are toffee malts with sweet pear and floral, lightly soapy notes. Flavours are sweet grain and earthy, ripe pear with fruit tea. Toffee malts with some herbal notes. Some citrus bitterness on the finish. Decent.

Dec 2, 2004 Malty aroma with hints of caramel and vanilla. Mediumbodied with a good mouthfeel. Good balance between hops and malt. Nice one.
