Bottled@Pelikan. Deep hazy golden colour with big creamy white head. Aroma is wheat, yeast, earth and quite big on the malts as well as wood. Flavour is strawberries, wheat, yeast and some citrus. Rather nicely balance.d Big berryish and malty aftertaste.

Quite cloudy. Straw colour with a thick head. The aroma is quite sweet - banana, some icing sugar and some nutmeg. Fairly fizzy. Some banana and sugar, but enough wheaty acidity in the finish to cut it.

Beershine (5218) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - JUN 21, 2009
Bottle at Pelikan. Honey yellow color, cloudy with a fizzy head. Potent banana aromas and flavors. Fizzy mouthfeel and is gassy. Flavors also include apple and pear. Not so bad.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2008 Bottled at Pelikan, Bamberg. Cloudy amber, small head. Sweet and fruity, sticky and primitive. Sweaty and mellow. Really not worth spending your money on, especially if you’re in Franconia.

500ml bottle from Beers Of Europe. Typical German style wheat beer. Some bubblegum flavours. A dirty, rough cheap tasting product. Some wheats manage to impress, this one doesn’t. Busy, but not aggressive carbonation plays around in the mouth.

Quinten (1051) - zaandam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 27, 2008
Heazy yellow colour, full foamy head, much fruity hinds like banana, peach, citrus, some grain, basement aromas, and even some cheese, nice one but not fore the calories.

Bottle. Nice banana, clove and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy orange brown color with moderate head. Musty wheat malt and clove flavor with light banana undertones. Hint of bitterness in the finish. Nicely drinkable - flavor is a bit bland.

pivnizub (9197) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - FEB 9, 2008
Bottle: Unclear, deep golden coloured, big fluffy to creamy off-white head, that slowly collapses; mainly wheaty-yeasty nose with faint zesty traces; moderate sweetish flavour, light to medium bodied; traces of necrotic yeast in the sweetish-wheaty-sourish finish. Average, boring Weizen........

Bottled from.. er.. Well, Germany I suppose. But no idea where I bought it from (how I caught it, found it or came by it, what stuff tis made of, whereof tis born, I am yet to learn). Actually, that’s wrong - I know what it’s made of and it was born in Zinrdorf. So let’s stick to the facts, Jack. Tea-with-the-teabag-and-a -little-bit-of-milk-in hazy brown, dirty-net-curtain-coloured slumping souffle head, fresh yeasty nose with just a touch of meatiness(?), itchy carbonation that gives the feeling in the mouth of a glass of lemonade tanked down just after you’ve spat out a mild bubblegum. If I could remember where I bought this, I’d go back and buy a case for the summer; an ideal weizen for those who find weizens too weizenny.
