Bottle: Unclear, deep golden coloured, big fluffy to creamy off-white head, that slowly collapses; mainly wheaty-yeasty nose with faint zesty traces; moderate sweetish flavour, light to medium bodied; traces of necrotic yeast in the sweetish-wheaty-sourish finish. Average, boring Weizen........

Bottled from.. er.. Well, Germany I suppose. But no idea where I bought it from (how I caught it, found it or came by it, what stuff tis made of, whereof tis born, I am yet to learn). Actually, that’s wrong - I know what it’s made of and it was born in Zinrdorf. So let’s stick to the facts, Jack. Tea-with-the-teabag-and-a -little-bit-of-milk-in hazy brown, dirty-net-curtain-coloured slumping souffle head, fresh yeasty nose with just a touch of meatiness(?), itchy carbonation that gives the feeling in the mouth of a glass of lemonade tanked down just after you’ve spat out a mild bubblegum. If I could remember where I bought this, I’d go back and buy a case for the summer; an ideal weizen for those who find weizens too weizenny.

(bottle) Cloudy, orange colour with a huge dense and rocky, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and moderately acidic wheat-malty aroma. Moderately sourish fruity flavour, good wheat-character, light fruity notes (mainly citrus) with cloves in the background. Light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel; a bit slim, sour-fruity finish with balanced clove phenols.
