Trübgelbe Farbe, große weisse Schaumkrone. Riecht entfernt nach Zitrusfrüchten, Gras. Leicht bitterer, sehr metallisch-mineralischer Geschmack. Im Abgang leicht trocken. Eher vollmundig.

JoeinDahlem (1347) - Berlin, Berlin, GERMANY - DEC 21, 2014
A very drinkable, pretty, yeasty trick, probably marginally better than whatever drab pils this is when filtered. Hazy pale yellow with durable white foam, mild nose of wet grain and lemon-zesty-yeast, faint sulfur. Minimal bitterness, light sweetness with faintly lemony acidic tang. Easy-going but without much to say, except that maybe we should be thankful that more industrial concerns are playing with sort of thing to liven up the aisles at the larger drinks markets.

Helder lichtgeel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en fris, licht zure fruit ondertoon. Blijft lang hangen, erg goed bier.

Idiosynkrasie (4356) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - SEP 26, 2014
500ml bottle. Hazy, pale, yellow-ish golden colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Smells like a pissed meadow in the morning dew, cow barn respectively, notes of wet, emiction-soaked straw. Taste is strawy, grainy, minimally tart; slightly watery. Horrible.

0.5L bottle. Pours hazy light pale with a frothy white head with medium lacing. German hops dominate the aroma profile, mostly herby with some pine. Grass and.mineral notes also present. Flavor is pretty much all hops, and not necessarily so pleasant. Herby hop flavor beginning and middle, dry hop linger, with some hints of nuttiness as well. Light body with a thin moutfheel and fairly active carbonation. Overall, not the most pleasant beer. Fairly unidimensional in emphasing herby, german hops.

Alengrin (2723) - BELGIUM - SEP 14, 2014
Actually the unfiltered Königsbacher Pils, but called Zischke to imitate the sound the cork makes when the bottles is opened - a hissing sound considered typical for Kellerbiers. Light yellowish white, dense, sticky, eventually opening head, colour clear golden blonde with slight orangey hue, yeast haziness, even a bit milky when the bottle is completely emptied. Weakish aroma, some lightly sweetish pale malts, vague apple-like fruitiness, yeast, straw, herbal hops. Light malt sweetish taste, lightly yeasty, mineral-like, very faint sourish touch, hop bitterish finish, a bit peppery; fluffy mouthfeel thanks to the yeast. Lacks some of the delicacy and refinement of its Bavarian congenitors.

Bready and fruity flavors, pretty clean finish. Quite a simple brew, yet pretty smooth and refreshing.

Douberd (2809) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - JUN 24, 2014
Swing top bottle, 500 ml, poured into a big Guinness glass at home, ABV 4.8% Hazy beer, pale golden yellow in colour, with three fingers of white soapy head on top. Good retention, medium lacing on the glass. Aroma of dried hay, bread, stale hops. Nice taste, bready, lightly sweet, with a nice touch of light citrus. Medium thin body, carbonation is good, on the lower side. Nice beer.
