on tap at klub malych pivovaru. a real mess - dull golden with a faint head; aroma of old books and compost with a fig leaf of citric hops; spoilt taste of unwanted sourness and old leather boots with some late citric bitterness. tastes like a batch that has gone bad and had a bunch of hops thrown at it to try and cover up all the flaws. a real surprise from a brewery i always expect to be very professional

Appearance: almost no head, amber color, slightly haze. Aroma: nothing special, caramel, paperlike - oxidized. No hop aroma. Taste: dull, caramel, apple, slightly medicinal (phenols), paperlike, cardboard - oxidizied, slightly sour. Low bitterness. Palate: low carbonation, dull. Overall: complete failure, no hop aroma. Poor quality (despite it has 3 weeks to best before date), infected.

On tap (@Zlý Časy, horní výčep): Deep golden, unclear, mid-sized lacy off-white head, moderate medical hoppy nose (info says : Cascade, Magnum, Sladek) with a fruity touch; moderate bitter-sweet flavour with a malty base, light to medium bodied; lingering bitter-sweet finish, fruity and medical traces present, again. A good session beer…
