On tap @ Zly Casy, Prague. Clear light golden body, medium white head. Aroma is mild pale malts, straw, grains and hints of grass. Taste is pale malts, straw, mild hop notes and hints of biscuits. Light body, medium carbonation. A decent enough pilsener, though not outstanding.

Tap at RJ. Aroma quite mild, mostly malty, light ambiguous hops. Clear golden colour. Moderate duration. Taste is too a bit mild, but nicely balanced. Thin body. OK beer, nothing special.

(Draught at Kulovy Blesk, Prague, 20 July 2013) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of citrus, bread and grass. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, grass, biscuits, some bread and a certain bitterness in a finish with a slight acidity. Medium body, quite dry. Enjoyable.

On tap U Slovanske Lipy. Pretty, clear gold pour with creamy white head. Aroma is really malty, nice honey aroma, light fruitiness. Taste leaves a lot of perceived sweetness, nice silky palate, very well balanced, light hop finish, peppery saaz.

My Bottom Line:
Silky honeyed malts and spicy hops benefit from orange-y biscuit notes to form a delightful pint of Svetly.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of pure white foam decorates the honeyed golden shine. This simply looks gorgeous.
-The orange-y biscuit angles are Earl Grey-like at times.
-The spicy hop bitterness is joined by honeyed residual sugars to create a nicely balanced ending to each sip.
-The mouthfeel is slender and oily.

On tap at U Slovanské Lipy, Praha.

I guess this was the beer I had near the monastery in Prague. It was smooth and golden with a meaty taste. I liked it quite a bit.

[on tap] Buttery caramel aroma leading into hops and then a little bit of ginger. Some diacetyl present. Hazy brownish-yellow with thin wisps. Bland, bitter, and dry tasting with low hops flavour and a bitter finish. Bitter finish, thin, low carbonation.
