I got an Helles there. A tasty Helles at the brewery. Nice cloudy yellow color with a amazing head, aroma is malty and floral hops. Flavor is quite dry, but well carbonated and a medium body with a nie bitterness at end. Nice beer!!

Draught at brewpub, Zagreb. Murky golden with a small white head. Grainy nose, light honey and nuts. Flavour is honeyish malt and grassy hops. Good bitterness. A little too overcarbonated. Fizzy finish. Quite rough around the edges.

3fourths (8638) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 18, 2009
draft at the brewery. clear gold, white head, medium sized bubbles, creamy head texture. sharp but clean pils malt thoughout, clean nose, low to medium levels of aromatic hops, little to no yeast presence in the nose. medium to light body, slight sharpness, mild bitterness. simple but clean and without the diacetyl found in the schwarzbier.

26/10 0.5 l draught. Murky golden bodied with medium head. Sourish unpasteurized nose, light hop profile, fine, but nothing too special. Flavor is very light, just a bit bitter and still sourish a bit. Aftertaste is nice, it goes down very smoothly. Good beer, very fresh but it lacks some strength.

Decent brews: straightforward and unpretentious. Tried all three offerings available that day: light, semi-dark, and dark. The dark was the most flavorful, followed by the semi-dark. None were spectacular but fresh and good nonetheless. The food at the brewpub was excellent when we were there.

Rastacouere (6161) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 11, 2007
A tasty pilsner in which the brewery has managed to extract a lot of flavour from their malts. Light wheat cracker-like taste is followed by a firm hop bite for Croatia. Dry palate as well, if very grainy. Perhaps a little husky, but well carbonated and solid medium body that fits the growing bitterness. Apparently variable, but I liked it a fair bit.

ogivlado (6420) - Zagreb, CROATIA - APR 5, 2006
Draught at the brewpub, -cloudly honey coloured, minimal white head, nice hoppy and slight yeasty aroma, refreshing and a bit watery, all beers from this place are good but somehow too similar to Medvedgrad beers

A new brewpub opened up where Medvedgrad used to be, which is a great thing. they shamelessly mimic Medvedgrad in most aspects, but can their beer compare ? Yes. This poured a misty, honey like orange-golden colour. Thick and firm medium sized chalky white head that went at a medium pace. The nose was malty and lemony, slightly acidic. The hops dominate the taste (which is very good). They bitter up the foreground, form the background and go a long way into the aftertaste. Some grain shows up, and yeast. Nice stuff. almost as good as its Medvedgrad counterpart.
