Jul 5, 2008 500 ml bottle (Zlatopramen Half n’ Half). Clear amber brown, small off-white head. Sweet, malty aroma with some raisins. Mildly roasted malty flavour with some caramel sweetness, and a little hoppy bitterness in the finish. Not bad, but not particularly good, either.

Jun 25, 2008 Bottle. It pours a clear, amber body with a small beige head. Malty aroma with caramel, some roasted aromas and a fruityness. Pears and yellow apples I think. Roasted, caramel flavor, lower on fruityness, and with a little bitterness. Medium body. Quite fruity finish, but with a balancing maltyness. Some notes of cellar too. A decent beer but that’s it. Deep red, small head. Grainy aroma. Rich full bodied taste, grainy and
with some burnt malts. Hops are a little astringent, but not
offensively so. Pretty good quaffer, full flavoured from the dark
half, and refreshing from the light half.
