Bought at Systembolaget as "Zlatopramen Anno 1642 Half n’ Half".
Pours clear orange with a small off-white head. Aroma contains caramel, wood, band aid, dry fruits and cardamum. Sugar sweet, roasted and bitter flavors with alcohol notes. Medium body. Medium carbonation. May work with or in a dish that requires a sweet drink, but does not stand particularly well on it’s own.

Bottle as Half n Half. Golden colour with a small off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with some dried fruits. Flavour is malt, caramel, rather sweet. An average beer.

500 ml bottle. Bottle labelled as ’Half n’ Half’. No mention of ’Bernstein’. Dark copper colour. Clear. Medium-sized off-white head. Light, slightly roasted grainy flavour. Hints of chocolate and coffee. Some distant clean hop notes. Grainy husk flavours at first with a little chocolate and a smooth finish. Surprisingly little flavour outside a little caramelly sweetness and the husky astringency. Finishes dry grainy and with some hop bitterness.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Beautiful clear chesnut color, small beige head. Bready and ryeish aroma. Flavor is quite close to Zlatopramen Dark. Decent body with rounded mouthfeel. Ryeish malty, a bit harsh and woody, toned caramel. Woody bitterish aftertaste. Standard Czech dark beer.

Bottle. orange colour with a big off-white head. Sweet malty, burnd sugar aroma and taste. Medium body with a sweet finish.

Clear brown with a tiny off-white head. Aroma of caramel, diacetyl, metallic hops and stale, unmalted grain. The body is a little on the light side, flavours of light stale caramel, almond, some tart somethings, and grassy hops. The finish leaves a slightly sweet/sour earthy taste. Not bad at all.

500 ml bottle (Zlatopramen Half n’ Half). Clear amber brown, small off-white head. Sweet, malty aroma with some raisins. Mildly roasted malty flavour with some caramel sweetness, and a little hoppy bitterness in the finish. Not bad, but not particularly good, either.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber colour with an off-white head. Malty caramel aroma with some hints of hops. Sweet malty caramel flavor. Some roasted hints in the flavor aswell. Sweet malty finish with some bitterness.

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Zlatopramen Ur-Böhmisch Bernstein (Krásné Brezno)". Pours a beautiful, clear amber with a small, off-white head. Medium body with extremely sweet malt - almost sugary. Basically no bitterness. 170406

Dark amber coloured with a rich head. Off tastes of cardboard and hard toffee. Quite sweet and leaves you with a slight malt sourness in your throat.
