1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle, Freo Doctor, Fremantle
Slightly old smelling noble hops, with a tiny hint of malt, Very flat, almost slick palate, with a hint of peppery spiciness and vegetative hop flavours. No malt to speak of.
Not nasty by any means, but perhaps a little battlescarred.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: JUN 6, 2008 Dark green Bottle. Talk about an underrated beer. This goes down smoothly. The flavor is gentle, slightly sweet but malty with distinctive signature. Well ballanced, not as hoppy and carbonated as some other pills. The head disappears rather quickly leaving little or no lacing. I’ve had this hundreds of times and it never seems to become stale, tastes as great as the first time I tried it. This is my favorite pilsner next to Urquell.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Bottle) Pours a golden color with a even white head. Aroma of hops and light malt. Taste was very similar, except sweeter. Strong carbonation and light metallic undertones. I was a little leery about trying this beer, since it was the only one left on the singles shelf. It was decent though.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Haven’t had a lager in months! A pils in even longer. Minimal head and lace, even with the most vigorus pour. Clear faint yellow. "Skunk" aroma, but plesant. Classic Saaz hop pils, but VERY refreshing. Some bitterness/metallic as palate goes along. Enjoyable lager, as lagers go (with me anyways.)

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle, skunky aroma, pours a clear yellow with no head. Taste is not as good as pilsner urquell but not bad, easy drinker pretty standard Euro lager.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle... the first and only Slovak beer that I’ve tried. Not bad at all. Doesn’t measure up to any Czech pilsners, but stands on its own.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Deep yellow colour and large bubbled white perishable head. Aroma is almost unpleasant. Weak malty and biting hops. Aftertaste is little better and exist longer but it is not save this beer.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A decent BP...nothing out of the ordinary. Pour was light gold with a generous 2 finger white head. Aroma of skunk. Do people other than in the US and England pick up this aroma? It seems most beers from that region have this same smell. I am guessing the trip overseas plus the fact they have light color bottles letting more light in attributes to this. Taste was as expected...thin and a tad hoppy in the aftertaste. Very dry and fizzy. OK for summer and that’s it

500 Bottle. Very malty and skunky, I did not enjoy this at all. Would not drink this again.
