Chyba najpopularniejsze piwo czeskie w Polsce. Szału w smaku nie ma ale fajnie wygląda "inne" piwo w lodówce. Kupićmożna w każdym markecie w Polsce.

Bottle. Pours on the deeper side of golden with a small, quickly fading head. This beer is crisp and tart, with a floral hop/malt balance. Very drinkable and refreshing.

0.5Lbottle. Small head wich disolves quite quickly, crystal clear golden colour with lively carbonation, strong hoppy aroma with floral notes and some metalic notes in the back. Bitterness is much too strong bordering on the unpleasant, the aftertaste combines a little sweetness wich makes it quite pleasant. A satisfiyng pilsener.

Upon opening the bottle, I immediately get a strong skuned aroma. However, a Chinese beer I had a few months ago still dominates this one’s skunkyness. Clear yellow, moderate to large head, not much for lacing or retention. Skunked aroma, bread, grain, sugary. Lighter body, some alcohol in the finish. Not good.

So we drive way out west to Sydney’s Vietnamese enclave of Cabramatta and immerse ourselves in a bustling world of noodle stalls, sugar cane juice vendors and unfamiliar seafood. Close your eyes and you could almost be in Asia. I spot a bottle shop and wander in on the off-chance I might find some obscure Viet or other Asian imports. Lo and behold, there are four beers I haven’t had before. Two Italians, a Mexican and this Slovak. Go figure. I get talking to a charming Vietnamese-Australian local and ask her about the beer situation. She says: "In Vietnam, we import Australian beer. There is no reason to reverse the process." Fair enough. This Slovak pils showed decent head retention. Bizarre floral/herbal aroma for a pils. Tangerine bath salts and violets atop oxidsed cardboard. Perhaps a sharp minty note. Not entirely unpleasant to smell but really unusual. The soapy mouthfeel and soft carbonation is the best thing about it. All malts on the tongue. Soft citrus and peach. Peculiar stuff. (500ml bottle from Vintage Cellars, Cabramatta. BB15/7/08)

Bottle (Slovakia): draft quality pilsner, a bit light as appearance, a bit heavy upon. Some sweet with yeast flavour; Draught: passable, but with moderation; Can: forget it!

Bottle. Clear golden color with a medium white head. Aroma with some malt and some grassy Saaz hops. Sweetish malty flavor with a rather light bitter hoppiness in the finish. Body is rather light. Not that bad, but could use some more hoppiness, body and character in general. Oh, and I like the bird on the label.

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2015 Can at HogTownHarry Fest 08. OK lager. Bit thin and horrible to be honest. But you know what? It’s a lager. 2/5. Bottle from a colleague at work. Clear gold lasting white head. Floral lemony aroma. Decent pilsner Czech style. Definite malty flavour. Some hop which could be more bitter and lemony on the finish, but it’s perfectly fine. Some sweetness from ABV rather than the clean 4% svetly. Fullness in the mouth. A malty Czech pilsner. It’s muted but totally fine.

Very minor foggy tone to a straw color. Crčme head. Minor cereal nose with a stronger metallic tone. Flavor is tart in a way I don’t consider positive. Metallic edge is there, but not the biggest character of the ride. Feel is typical. Overall this is average stuff. There is nothing interesting about it and the metallic and dirty edge just kind of kills it from ever being interesting.
