Basic lager. Very much like an American lager but with a smoother finish. Easy drinking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thick head dissipates fairly quick. Malty and slightly sweet aroma. Sweet and full bodied taste settles to a slightly more moderate finish. Fairly typical for a pilsner. Very enjoyable.

Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Aroma is of skunked malts, hops, and yeast. Flavor is the same. This is just as I expected. Typical green bottled international beer. Carlsberg, you have a sister brew.

Bottle. Golden color with a decent head and light lace. Aroma is grains, slight bread and of course green bottle skunk. Taste is sweet up front, bitter after taste and of course green bottle skunk.

500 ml bottle purchased at the Total Wine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The pour is clear golden with a fluffy two inch snow white head. The aroma is cereal grain, soft floral sweetness, along with a hint of clove yeast. The taste is sweet herbal floral upfront, moving to cereal grain huskiness, then finishing with a bit of earthy clove. Decently clean flavors. The palate is light bodied, low carbonation level and herbal finish. Sweet lingers a bit. Nice enough.

Pours a darker golden, slightly hazy with a bit of suspended fine sediment and a thick off white head that settles quickly to a ring and film and leaves light touches of lace. Nose up front involves skunky hops which give way to a cooked vegetable note, light sweet malt and some rustic spice. Fairly sweet flavor, not incredibly bitter. Light to medium bodied, somewhat active but fairly soft with a rather abrupt finish. Once again, without the skunk factor this might not be half bad, but it lacks proper hop character all around and presents as a tad over-sweet, and not quite pure.

0,5L green bottle, from Systembolaget Luleĺ Sweden. Fluffy head which diminishes on the golden amber body, only a thin spotted layer is left. Scents of hops, grains, citric, apple, and malt. Taste; hops, grains, lots of malts, herbs and spices. Mouthfeel is good, and carbonation does not disturb, and it’s not watery. Ends with bread, roasted malts, dough, and only faint hints from cardboard. Overall a quality czech pilsener. Shared at home with my wife while she cooked salmon with lemon pepper and basil.

GIJOE (621) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - OCT 17, 2013
Pours amber with a frothy, mottled white head that settles down in a few minutes to thin foam. Viscous lacing. Nose is yeasty and typical of pils. Taste fairly standard as well; a grainy liquid sourdough bread kind of thing. Medium body, vigorous carbonation. Not bad.
