2.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
0,5l bottle. The small head disappears quickly. The beer smells of feet, with a strong hoppy taste. Quite fresh actually, but the smell takes the happiness away effectively.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Aroma is comprised mainly of hops, similar to that of Budweiser, but stronger and without the unpleasant corny/grainy/yeasty taste of American macros like Bud and Coors. Taste is similar to that of a Heineken (minus the slight yeast detectable in a Heineken), which is not all that suprising, seeing how the brewer is a Heineken company. The hops are quite plesant, dominating over any malts, but not to the point where it becomes too hoppy for a pilsener. Some malt is slightly detectable, with very slight yeast notes. Carbonation is very good, lasting throughout the 1 pint bottle. Definitely a repeat pilsener buy. Quite delicious and refreshing when very cold!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2006 Another quality Czech/Slovak pilsner - sorry for the generaliation, but it’s because both these nations make premium beers of this kind. Great hops smell, reasonable carbonation, no traces of alcohol and a nice bitter note in the finish. Good.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
This one poured with a very nice, even pillowy head over to the golden yellow color. Aroma was mild with some hops coming through. The flavor was pilsner-like with some hops in the finish, but a corn-like (not sure if the adjuncts are actually in this one) cheap taste was slightly detectable.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
pale amber colour, hardly an aroma at all, perhaps a bit malty. taste is a bit citrus that lingers in the aftertaste, a tad bit metallic. I’m not a fan of pisneners to begin with, but this was really the opposite of good.

Draught at restaurant "Arena" in central PRague.
Golden color, big white head. Malty scent. Clear acid mouthfeel, fruity and a bit bitter aftertaste. Good bitterness. Some butterscotch in the smell after the head has decreased.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
The beer poured a yellow color w/ gold highlights; slight lasting head and very slight lacing. The aroma had malt, honey, and spicey saaz hops. The flavor had malts, spicey hops, and slight alcohol esters. The mouthfeel was light and creamy.
