American Bottled version. Light yellow, bubbly with lots of foamy head. Dosent smell like much. Taste is fluffy, bubbly and has that weak stale hops flavor of a poor tasting lager. I kept giving it a chance. I suppose you could make the case that it tastes like biting into an apple (one of those small red/green ones). But its not acidic or very bitter, just fluffy and weak/watered down. I ended up pouring it out. Disgrace to my ancestral homeland. blah.

Light yellow in color with a frothy white head. No distinguishable aroma. Light malt and apples maybe. Smooth slighlty bitter finish. Overall, not bad, but I had hoped for more.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2004 I'm shocked that importing this beer into the USA could be profitable. Weak, fizzy, yellow. Much better than budmillercoors.

Slightly skunky aroma, but underneith i can make out a distinct apple smell. The slight skunkiness persists in the taste but there is also a bitterness, and a taste reminiscent of grains is in there too. After a minute the lingering bitterness has turned somewhat sweet in my mouth.

Clear golden body with minimal white head. Aroma is sweet (corn?), apple juice, slightly skunky. Taste is very mild -- medium sweet, bit of grassy in finish, and I can swear that I taste the alcohol. Light-medium body.

I've had better bohemian pilseners. Slight skunk in the aroma. Looked pretty, golden with a large white head. Flavour wasnt all that skunked went well with the hot day that it was. But nothing impressive.

Once the bottlecap came off, I was regaled with one of the skunkiest aromas I've ever endured. It was a bad way to start. The beer looked good, nice straw/gold colour, and tasted something like Czech pilsners (hardly surprising I guess), but overall, I wasn't greatly impressed.

Large, skunky, hoppy aroma. Quite a similar brew to Pilner Urquell, but I may like this one better. Brew pours golden with moderate head which is partially retained. Light lacing. Flavor is hoppy and crisp. This is good pilsener.

Jedsbrew (465) - Rhineland, Missouri, USA - JUL 2, 2003
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2003 Golden color, decent head and hoppy aroma. Light malty and slightly bitter flavor, with dry finish. Decent but nothing fancy.
