Once the bottlecap came off, I was regaled with one of the skunkiest aromas I've ever endured. It was a bad way to start. The beer looked good, nice straw/gold colour, and tasted something like Czech pilsners (hardly surprising I guess), but overall, I wasn't greatly impressed.

Has a golden/yellow color with a good bit of carbonation and a skunky smell. Taste is kind of Heinekenish, but not as skunky. Overall not too bad, but by far not a great beer. I would be interested to try this on tap in Slovakia to see the difference

Dorwart (2377) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - NOV 1, 2003
Big head with little carbonation. Aroma of rotting tomatoes and some hops. Color is a thin pale gold. Flavor is very mile and mellow with maybe a flavor of bread. Pretty bland but not offensive. Finish is malty with a slight metalic aftertaste. It was cheap and was in one of those "import" variety packs. Not worth the time.

Bottled 5% version from LCBO. Slightly sweet aroma. Pale golden color with a weak head. Dry finish. Drinkable, but much the same as a cheap american macrobrew.

Bottle, at home. Yellow with white head, fully diminishing. No lacings. Aroma and flavor moderat malty (bread), light hoppy (flower). Light body, watery, soft carbonated. The taste is to light.

Golden colour, firm, white froth; thin hoppy (herbal, grassy) nose with some grainy notes; bitter-malty beginning, thin bodied, short thin bitter-sweet aftertaste with some unpleasant metallic/medical(?) notes. This golden pheasant turns out to be a grey vulture........

Golden and fairly flat, with a head that diminishes to a scummy film. Adjuncty/corny aroma with grasses and "Band-Aid". Thin and grassy flavor, light bitterness. Slightly burnt in aroma and flavor. Not much worth describing. (Another country knocked off, so that’s a plus.)

I wanted to like this one mroe thatn I did because it reminded me of a trip I took to Slovakia. I didn’t have a chance to taste it there - but the signs and table cloths were in every restaurant - it is the Bud of Slovakia. Anyways, pours the typical clear urine of this style. Small bubbly head. Grassy and slightly skunky nose. Straw and some citrus to start, a little bit of hops. Starts fairly fizzy which is good for a pilsner I suppose, but goes flat pretty quickly and begins to betray certain other notes which seem to match the color

pale amber colour, hardly an aroma at all, perhaps a bit malty. taste is a bit citrus that lingers in the aftertaste, a tad bit metallic. I’m not a fan of pisneners to begin with, but this was really the opposite of good.

500 mL bottle. Yellow gold with generous, but quickly dissipating head. Mild aroma is sweet - overripe apples. Hops dominate the flavour - not in a good way. Some corn. A litlle citrus. Not much finish.
