Bottle. Pours a straw color with thin white head that dissipates quickly. This one was skunked and would have rated higher. Good body for a pilsner with a smooth beginning peppery finish. I wish this was fresher but just okay after sitting on the store shelf for a while.

Medium bitterness, golden color. Refreshing but not impressing for a 12° beer.

Can. Golden, clear with a frothy white head. Minerals, sweet-honey that overtakes the minerals and also apple juice concentrate in the nose, bitter, sweet undertones and a little caramel beneath in the mouth. Light-to-medium body, fizzy, refreshing and slightly malty finish.

500 ml bottle @ home. It?s Slovakian take on Sevre model of Pilseners - the Urquell. I still remember those beers back then, when its brewers were living in one country. Present Bazant is more like his own shadow from the old glory days. Thanks to "red star" brewing corporation - probably. It?s on the malty, sweet side, moderate to light body. Weak hops in aroma and taste - that?s the problem. Slight, shy bitterness in aftertaste - not enough imho. But still, it?s quite drinkable, not bad at all, decent session beer. Better than average eurolager - that’s for sure:)

Good pilsner with clear Czech characteristics. Feels a bit watered down and not as distinct in bitterness as for example Pilsner Urquell.

Gyllengul öl med vitt skum. Doft av hö och gräs. Smaken är nĺgot maltigare med en aning av den typiska tjeckoslovakiska smörkolan.

What a swizz! 12% I saw on the PVC wrap. I thought two cans of this, a snooze and away to bed. Turns out it’s 5%, excitement gone.
