TATE (357) - Lubec, Maine, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Bottle. Pours a straw color with thin white head that dissipates quickly. This one was skunked and would have rated higher. Good body for a pilsner with a smooth beginning peppery finish. I wish this was fresher but just okay after sitting on the store shelf for a while.

This was the hungarian version, not the original. Nice clear color, but nothing special.

jawlo (86) - Katowice, POLAND - JUN 4, 2015

sudomorph (880) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 24, 2015
500ml bottle. Pours a clear, golden yellow with a Omw finger, white head. Aroma has notes of grains, traditional hops, and lager yeast. Taste is balanced grain, traditional hops, fruity lager esters, and a short, refreshing ending. Medium-full body with a medium carbonation. Clean and refreshing in the mouth with a dry finish. Overall a nice pils. Classic flavours mixed with a filler body and a clean finish.

Bottle->footed pilsner. Clear bright gold with small white head. A: grassy, with corn, pilsner hops and malt. T: wet grass, corn, skunk. Taste is far worse than aroma.

Holmen2 (1735) - NORWAY - APR 2, 2015
Bottle contributed by EG and shared with JMD at HNB 02.04.15. Clear golden. Fairly persistent white head and lacing. Fine aroma of Czech hops, grass, flowerfields, malt, marmelade and succade. Similar and well-balanced taste, with evident malt. Decent bitterness. Very quaffable. The brewers at the Dutch Heineken brewery could benefit their customers by going on a study trip to their Slovakian colleagues.
