500ml bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a significant white head. Aroma is exactly what you would expect. Some sweet malt, grassy notes, metallic. Thin in taste, and palate. Sweet malt, with spicy metallic hops immediately following. Not bad, but considering it’s the most expensive Euro-lager in the store, I’ll take Kozel over this any day.

Bottle from a mini market in Prague. The beer is yellow to golden colored and pours a stable white head with average carbonation. The aroma is malty and yeasty with some grassy and citrus notes in the background. The taste is malty and light sweet with tones from the aroma. The finish is light bitter and light watery. Decent pilsener but one to forget soon.

500 ml can from a nearby corner shop. Mid- to dark gold with a thin film of white head. Malt, honey and paper glue on the aroma. Strong sweet gooey taste with hints of honey and sweet oranges. Sharp finish. Heavy carbonation hides the thin body. I’ve had worse, it’s a drinkable enough lager.
