Bottled, pasteurised. Dark brown with red hints, white head. Good looking and good drinking beer, mild with a nutty roasted flavour, some treacle, some roasted coffee. Very drinkable.

(Bottled, 4.0% ABV) A nice and clear, dark ruby red color with a small, beige head. Mild, slightly roasted, sweet caramel-malty aroma. The dark chocolate and coffee flavor starts off dry and roasted, and ends sweetish and caramel-malty, with a bitter finish and a quite long, sticky and syrupy aftertaste. Medium-bodied, low-carbonated, syrupy and bitter palate. A very pleasant and easily drinkable dunkel.

I would put the dark lager of Zlaty Bazant a tick lower than the original lager ... this brew is in the classic Slovakian dark style, rather dry, medium bodied and with a surprising lack of roasty notes ... well brewed, but lacks a bit of originality ...

Bottled. Dark amber colour, little beige longlasting head. Dark chocolate and caramel in aroma and hints of roasted malt. Sweet malty flavour with hints of plum and dark chocolate. Chocolate grows a bit in the finish. Sadly not much much aftertaste. Very wellbalanced.
