COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Zoetic Series is our own study of hops as we add a different hop to each batch. The earthy English malts balance and support the dry yeast character of this beer. Citra: Intense citrus and tropical tones in the flavor and aroma.

Sample at the brewpub on 4/12/15. Clear gold to amber pour with a thick white head. Aroma of malt, citrus and spicy hop. Malty flavor with pine and grapefruit accents before a spicy hop finish.

on tap @ Yellow Springs / OH --- Clear light amber with a white head cover, blobs and dots of lace. Taste is English malts that grow well through the palate, adding biscuit and honey before a solid floral hoppy finish brings things right back into balance. A really solid Pale Ale that shows its English roots very well. Recommended.

Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, herbal, wooden and mildly some spiced notes as well. Flavour is fruity, floral, sweet malts as well as some sweetish notes and mild herbal tones to it.

It pours a small, white head over a hazy, golden body. The aroma is citrusy, lemon peel mostly, with pine cones, resins and some pale malts. There’s a little sweetness in the flavor, balanced well by the bitterness, with additional flavors of citrus peel, pine cones and resins. Medium to full body and a nice carbonation level. Semi-dry, with a lasting citrusy finish. Sort of feels a bit old this one, wonder if it is or if it just could use a tad more hops. Anyway, it drinks easy and it’s quite enjoyable. 150227

Spritzig hopfiger Beginn, geringe Süße. Grasig hopfig bleibend, weich, im Mittelteil werden die Aromen durchgereicht. Weicher Nachhall mit steigendem Hopfen. Gut! 10/11/11/11//11

Clear pale golden beer with almost no head. Hoppy citrus aroma, grassy, pine, mango notes, some oranges. Hoppy pine and citrus flavor, mango, pine apples, lemongrass notes, some earthy notes. Quite nice.

On tap at Cincinnati Winter Beer Fest 2015. Clear golden orange color. Off-white head. Loose bits of lace. Great big spicy citrus hop. Great big bready malt, biscuit. Medium-plus body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, light to moderate sweet taste. Decent zest. More dry finish. Great citra IPA. More assertive and biting than ZD, if you want to make that comparison, but great in it’s own way.

Very smooth light bodied APA, crisp finish with citrus notes and mild bitterness. I would have this again. Refreshing! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft in a sampler at the brewery. Pours a clear gold color with a white head that laves some lace. Notes of citrus fruits, hop oils, pine resin, pale and lightly sweet malts, straw, grass, and florals. Not much of a tropical fruit presence here. Light-bodied, with a bitter mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Good APA.

Brewery draft 5.2 ABV by the chalkboard. Clear gold color with a white ring. Big aroma of skunky hops that borders on pungent. Bold flavor of citrus hops that again borders on pungent. Nice medium bitterness level. Very drinkable. Pleasant.
