| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 4, 2006 The pour reveals a clear reddish amber color with a medium bubbly white head that leaves nice lacing on the glass. Nice aroma of musty, tart and sour fruits with wood, it has a dusty attic character. The flavor is very good, again it feels like something straight from an attic or a musty cellar, tart and sour fruits dominate with wood and vinegar, it finishes sweet but not too much. The body is light to medium with a creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. I love flemish sours and this one is a very good example. marcus (1853), Sacramento, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 23, 2006 This brown ale poured in a snifter with an off-white head that dissipated rather quickly. There is an acidic aroma and a tart cherry flavor, with a dry bitter finish. joet (1702), Fulton, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 18, 2006 I really like this. Yes it’s obviously sweetened but there are no character hits here. Some farm house aromas, lactic sour, bits of astringency mellowed to relax, no obvious sugar qualities, no takciness. Some more basement flavors emerge as it warms. Generalyl very quaffable and yet still very complex and fun. FoolishMortal (965), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 13, 2006 750mL bottle. Dark red-orange with a medium sized dense offwhite head. Mild plasticy phenols in the aroma with some acetic sourness. Fruity tartness with an emerging mustiness. Tannic character in the finish with residual cherryskin astringency and some wet hay. Mouthfeel is a light medium, fairly dry. badnewsbeers (1026), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 12, 2006 Bottle. Pours reddish amber with a thick cream-colored head. Aroma of apples and cherries, with some stinky cheese. Taste vastly improves as the beer warms. Cherry, caramel, and malt up front that turns sour quickly when cold, but smoothly when warmer. A tart, sweet finish. Definitely a sipper. jasonp (1509), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 28, 2006 Bottle courtesy of Jeffin7. Pours a darker shade of amber with a white head. Pleasant citric, bretty aroma. Flavor has notes of brett/horseyness, citric acidity, lemon, wood and blackberries. Dry finish. Medium to light body with moderate carbonation. Admittedly, I am far from an expert on this style but I found it enjoyable.
