Palidor19 (1750), Brandon, Florida, USA Aug 21, 2008 very nice, fruity and tart, its light on the palate, malt and hops but it works well with everything else. only for those who like this style of beer. nick76 (2634), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 21, 2008 The aroma isn’t bad with tart (sour) fruit, sweetness, and yeast. The appearance is reddish/brown with a nice head. The flavor is like the aroma and not good. The palate is thin. Overall it’s not disappointing but only because I wasn’t expecting to like it. gottalottaibu (242), charlotte, North Carolina, USA Aug 20, 2008 ruby pour with a great head. slight funk and faint sour cherry. nice sweetness in the flavor. sour and funk are present but not overpowering. nice balance and very drinkable. rustychiles (1007), Mesa, Arizona, USA Aug 19, 2008 Pours a brownish ruby with a huge tan head. Aroma of sour cherry, funky yeasts, candy sugars. Flavor is cidery, cherry, yeasts, sweet yet sour, funky goodness, earthy tones and wood tones as well. This is pretty mellow for a sour, but I liked the balance of all the elements within. Good stuff. allfreej (358), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Aug 17, 2008 Bomber bottle. Poured buubly, tawny brown, with a dense, foamy tan head. Nose was sour cherries, yeast, wet blanket. Falvor was sour cherry, yeast bitterness (brettanomyces-like), musty, slightly medicinal aftertaste, and just a hint of malty sweetness under it all. Finsih was very dry. More complexity than other sour ales. Headbanger (1574), Aurora, Illinois, USA Jul 15, 2008 750ml bottle-Pours a burnt orange with a small off white head and an aroma of sourness and fruity. Taste of the same with the sourness not being overpowering. I like this much better than the La Folie maybe cuz it is much milder but still very tasty. Woodsman52 (23), , Ohio, USA Jul 6, 2008 Reminds me partly of my homemade wine. Very fruity and exciting! This beer tingles the tongue and has an entertaining palate. Red amber in color and worth drinking again. Bigmmartin (366), Dayton, Ohio, USA Jul 6, 2008 750 ml Bottle. Pours a nice reddish amber with a thick white head. Has a strong aroma of fruits...fermented apple cider, sour cherries, and yeast. Flavor is a struggle between sweet and sour with a overriding tart finish. Lighter than I expected, quite refreshing, and definitely unique.
