Linus_Stick (1481), Moon Township, Pennsylvania, USA May 2, 2008 Thanks Mr Stitch for picking this up for me. Aroma was a little weak. Must, funk and some vinegar. Pour was a nice murky brown with a one finger off white head.Taste was very nice. Sour cherries, barnyard floor, and brett are up front with a tangy vinegar like finish. Not mouth puckering, but very delicious.
Headbanger (928), Aurora, Illinois, USA Jul 15, 2008 750ml bottle-Pours a burnt orange with a small off white head and an aroma of sourness and fruity. Taste of the same with the sourness not being overpowering. I like this much better than the La Folie maybe cuz it is much milder but still very tasty. Woodsman52 (17), , Ohio, USA Jul 6, 2008 Reminds me partly of my homemade wine. Very fruity and exciting! This beer tingles the tongue and has an entertaining palate. Red amber in color and worth drinking again. Bigmmartin (137), Dayton, Ohio, USA Jul 6, 2008 750 ml Bottle. Pours a nice reddish amber with a thick white head. Has a strong aroma of fruits...fermented apple cider, sour cherries, and yeast. Flavor is a struggle between sweet and sour with a overriding tart finish. Lighter than I expected, quite refreshing, and definitely unique. WeeHeavySD (1564), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Jul 3, 2008 750 that I’ve had in the cellar for a while, I believe this came from bevmo. Shared with my gf cyn. Pours deep orange wiht a tan head. Nose is sweet and slightly acidic with hints of sourness. Taste is slightly sour with a strange oaky woodyness. Can’t say I hate but can’t say I love it either. Ale_Drinker (1055), Sunnyvale, California, USA Jul 2, 2008 Pours brown/red with a slight haze. Big lasting head. A very clean barnyard aroma (is that an oxymoron?). Leathery is a very good adjective here. Not as sour as I was expecting, but a whole lot more aroma/flavor. Pretty light in body. Refreshing. A very nice change of pace.
