Somewhat cloudy pale straw colored beer with an enormous fluffy bright white head. Virtually non-existent nose of lemon, cereal grain, and corn sugar. Flavor is bright and crisp with some citrus, sweet corn, and mildly bitter musky hops bringing up the rear. With surprisingly soft carbonation and mild flavor overall, this is easy to drink, but fairly nondescript and boring.

appearance: hazy gold, bright white foamy, creamy head that lasts, leaving good lacing. aroma: pilsnery-crackery malts, with notes of lemon, grass, and pepper. taste: as the aroma indicates. finish: clean, slightly chewy, yet still crisp. notes: Great example of the style. Good palate, balanced flavors. Would drink again. Bottle from the Microbrewed Beer of the Month Club (aka Rare Beer Club).

Frisch gezapft getrunken. Schmeckt schön süffig und habe es mit Hopfenaromen in Erinnerung. Sehr gut trinkbar.

Hazy yellow, Tall fluffy head. Average retention. Weak lacing. Nose of grains, wheat, fermented fruit. Medium body. Sweetish taste with notes of grains, fruit, a bit winy. Some hops in ending & aftertaste. Pretty nice brew with its own character.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine malty, modest spicy, then more and more soapy-fruity with notes of apricot. Finish dominated by sourish-soapy notes. Strange beer!

Cloudy yellow colour with airy low head and medium to crisp body. Nose of grass and fresh hops. Taste green hazelnuts, fresh hops, light barely, white bread and vanilla. Hints of lemon fruits and straw. Flowery and fresh finish. I didn’t expect much of this one but got really surprised by its freshness. One of the best Zwickels out of the bottle I had until now. Really quaffable and refreshing.
