Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is Pils malt, earthy hops and clean. Flavor is sweet Pils malt, light hops and bitterness with a clean lager character. Light body and medium carbonation.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine malty, modest spicy, then more and more soapy-fruity with notes of apricot. Finish dominated by sourish-soapy notes. Strange beer!

Cloudy yellow colour with airy low head and medium to crisp body. Nose of grass and fresh hops. Taste green hazelnuts, fresh hops, light barely, white bread and vanilla. Hints of lemon fruits and straw. Flowery and fresh finish. I didn’t expect much of this one but got really surprised by its freshness. One of the best Zwickels out of the bottle I had until now. Really quaffable and refreshing.

Wundervoll. Wirklich. Sueffig, mit ganz viel Gras im Aroma. Optisch milchig-zitronig und im Geschmack ebenso ähnlich angelegt. Geht runter wie Oel ohne zu einfach zu wirken. Top.

33cl bottle - Pale milky yellow with small white head, fresh grassy hop aroma, just enough balance between grains and dry sweet malts, light but satisfying mouthfeel: very decent, unpresumptuous and fresh Zwickl von der Alb!

Cloudy yellow colour. Big stable rocky off-white head. The flavour is mildly bitter with some rough, but good bread notes.

Pours a hazy light orange with a thin white head. Aroma of barley and grain. Light flavor of slightly toasted malt. A bit creamy with a nice bitter finish.

Bisher mein bestes Bier vom Zoller-Hof!

Bottle 33cl, 5.5°, from an asian shop !! A cloudy yellow beer with medium head. Nose is grainy and slightly lemony. Aroma is dry and astringent like, hopy at the finish, not complex and a bit watery, just refreshing.

(33cl swing top bottle, with thanks to Stefan !) Cloudy, bright yellow colour with a solid foamy white head. Yeasty, moderately sweet and distinctively wheaty aroma with a light citrus fruity touch. Sweet flavour with a light acidic touch, soft-grainy, wheaty and yeasty taste with a subtle fruity touch; light to medium bodied, medium carbonation; medium-dry, slightly sour, malty finish with a whiff of herbal hops. Brewed with barley and wheat-malt, but bottom-fermenting yeast, it reminds me a bit of the Aitermoser by Falter in Hof.
