0.5 L bottle as ЗОЛОТАЯ БОЧКА Klassicheskoe. Pours a brilliant clear pale golden, topped by a finger of fully diminishing white head. Sweet-scented bread and wort to the nose. Taste is fairly clean malty. On the sweet side with bready and grainy malt flavor. Some bittering hops underneath. Light to medium full. Slick texture. Sweetish malt ending. Just about a decent euroloager.

February 15, 2011. Shared by garthicus with blankboy and me. 500ml bottle. Clear deep gold with a small quick-diminishing pancake batter off-white head. Modestly offensive aroma - sugar, weeds and light soiled diaper - not the worst, but pretty ugly. Taste isnít thaaat bad - like cheap apple juice with liquid paper and a splash of homemade vodka. Average body, weak carbonation, harsh aftertaste. Oh why, why, why?

larsga (6179) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 11, 2012
Medium white head. Clear deep yellow body. Mealy malty grassy aroma with fruity notes. Dry-sweet malty papery taste with grassy fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry resiny grassy taste with dandelion and flour notes. Mealy flavour lingers. Not bad, but a bit harsh and mealy. (0.5l bottle from a street kiosk in Moscow.)

Bottle [500ml] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o garthicus. Pours a clear pale gold with an average size semi-lasting weird-looking white head. Aroma of sugar, alcohol and caramel -- not good. Flavourís watery but not as awful as expected -- itís not really good either but itís not awful -- Itís sweet and grainy. Light bodied. Couldíve been worse.

500 mL bottle bought in Moscow and consumed in Huntsville, AL. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a thin white head. The nose is mostly wheat and carbonation, with some notes of yeast and pine hops. The flavor is weak, but well balanced sweetness and bitterness. The body is light, and the alcohol is noticable. Overall, a mediocre beer, but not offensively bad.

500ml bottle - exchange with Saint Matty - thanks!
Pale, fizzy. Bland vaguely lagery aroma. Nasty metallic palate. Slight horror taste - papery, and too strong to ignore. Not refreshing, not tasty, actually quite nasty.

Can in Vladivostok. Pours golden yellow with a nice white head. Aroma is toasted pale malts, some caramel and light citrus. Flavor is mild with more toasted pale malts and light citrus hops. And another stellar pale lager down, 4,999,999,987 to go...
