2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 larsga (5324) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 9, 2012
Powerful phoosh on opening. Biggish offwhite head. Clear yellow
body with light carbonation. Buttery papery aroma with a whiff
of unaired closet. Sweetish buttery sugary taste with grainy
toffee notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish
buttery fruity sugary aftertaste with mealy papery notes. It’s
kind of smooth, but too sugary and empty to really appeal.
Nearly a year old, which probably doesn’t help. (0.5l bottle,
some supermarket in Moscow, Russia.)
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 vipinvelp (1156) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - JUN 9, 2012
From Bottle so hard to tell color, but there is good foam. Tase is bitter pilsener with nothing else to add. I was thirsty so, OK (Moscow 201206)
1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 FatPhil (7496) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - APR 18, 2010
500ml bottle (Old Thomas, Tallinn) - zhish izh ruzhian bir!
Pale pee colour. Initially big head (poured absurdly, and then let settle), but it shrinks to just a horrible scummy floaty thing in the middle of the glass - or maybe Anna’s cleared her throat into it instead? Thin, watery and a bit fizzy. Pretty unpleasant malty aroma, hard to know what’s wrong, but something is. Nasty acrid taste. Some swimming-pool chemicals. Finish is chemical and pencil shavings. Ugh. SAB Miller at their best - shit.

0,5 L bottle. Golden color. Malty aroma. Flavor is sweet malty, but so chemical. I didnt feel brewing process - only beer powder and water.
