3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very pleasant Belgian blonde. Creamy and soft mouth feel. Medium carbonation with a good head retention. The head is snowy white but not big. The aroma is medium intensive with delicate notes of apricot and tart. There is also a distinctive fresh pear aroma. Flavor is very nice and mellow. nothing off putting and just a bit too well balanced. Still itís a good beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml Corked Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This hazy golden coloured beer pours with a billowy foamy head. It has spiced toffee and caramel flavours, herbal candi sugar notes followed by an earthy spicy fruity finish. Very nice!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
- Alcoholpercentage van 8%
- Redelijk biertje destijds gedronken
- Niet verkeerd, maar heb naar mijn smaak veel lekkerder biertjes gedronken
- Vandaar mijn niet al te hoge waardering uiteindelijk

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Second beer of this beer company, marketed as a ípleasure beerí and spiced with not just your ordinary coriander, but cumin seed and caraway, also with added honey and oak aged. Creamy, off-white head, deep peach blonde colour, near amber. Aroma of vanilla, butter, honey, green apple, white grapes, coriander, fennel, dough, oak, yoghurt and cheese. Subdued fruity onset, light sweetish, a bit buttery, sourish accent, light bitter finish with slight woody touch and retronasal spiciness but some solvents as well. Complex recipe but not quite delivering what the recipe promises.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
33cl bottle. Candy sweet, honeyish aroma. More balanced in flavour. Lovely golden colour. Lacing white head. None of those many ingredients seem to stand out, so a nice blend of flavours perhaps. Lovely creamy mouthfeel with some pleasant warming. Carbonation spot on. Lovely beer.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Note ; previous rating here by me was a mistake and was for the brown variant .
now rating this one , so its not an updated rating, this is actual first rating .
Pours warm blonde, orange glow.
Good white head that lasts long .
Smell is tad sweet , some grains . But mostly very gentle and soft ( balanced )
Taste is bitter , some slightly, almost metallic sharpness . Some balanced sweetness in the back . Perfect carbo . The previously mentionned sharpness, lasts into a funky-sweet-unique taste which I really dig .
The drinkability in this one is extreme . Prob one of the 1 % tripels withoud a shitload of overcarbonation, Šnd with a balanced taste that is sweet, yet not sugary . Its been a long time that ( if I have ever ) was this happy with a tripel ( that has not been hopped like an IPA or spiced like a white , etc ) . Basic, but very nice . Tripels never will go superhigh in my ratings, but this deserves a well-earned 100 % on style . I do not taste like 50 % of the ingredients in the description ( honey, sugar , oak ,.... ) but I guess that is because they are blended in in such a beautifull way , I guess . Very nice surprise !
