This is a good Hell and has more taste than a pils but just as light. This poured golden with a small head. Good beer.

Good example of a seasonal German pilsener, nice golden hue ,with ample head. Nice grain aromas and sharp bite in the aftertaste. Moderate carbonation keeps the fizz going throughout. A very regional bier, no the best in its class, but a far better than the average AMerican beer....

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Very clean and straight maltiness. Medium body, clean and malty but dominated by dry and bitter hops - actually surprisingly hoppy for a Helles. 031009

.5L bottle - Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Pours a nice golden yellow color with a minimal fizzy white head. Aromas of grains, straw, hops, and a hint of fruit. Flavor is a nice crisp pilsner taste. Starts grainy with touches of pepper and fruit and finishes with a mellow hop.

On tap at Joe’s Salettl in Alpbach, Austria. Golden body with big head. Nose of malts and bitter. Taste of malts. Slightly sweet. Bitter and refreshing after day of boarding.

Extremely pale clear gold with very light, fluffy head. Very dry, stuffy, warm grain nose, as in a malt storage - on a warm summers’ day. Even some honey. Very dry, hoppy beer but with a metallic tang. Light, but pleasing texture. Just the aftertaste leaves to be desired, as it is only the metallic tang that remains. Mittelgelb, reichlich Schaum. Eine Blumenwiese im Aroma mit etwas Heu. Reiner Malzgeschmack, honig-lieblich und auch floral, nicht klebrig, gute Süffigkeit. Ein Wald-und-Wiesn-Helles für jeden Tag!
