Draught at a restaurant in Fussen, on the day of my engagement. Opaque gold color and a tall, thick white head. Lots of banana and sweet wheat. Thick and heavy mouthfeel, and very rich palate. A great weizen.

Hazy white yellow colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, wheat, hay, bread, quite fresh. Light sweet, light sour wheat flavour, citrus and bread. Light sour wheat finish, citrus and a hint of cloves.
Very light on banana for a Hefe-Weizen. Good, because I’m not big on banana myself, and it makes it lighter and more refreshing than most Hefe-Weizens I know. Very decent brew.

Średnie pszeniczne, delikatne i malo wyraziste. Male zmetnienie, kolor jasny jak na bawarska pszenice, orzezwiajace, nuty bananowe wyczuwalne, brak innych cech harakterystycznych dla tego stylu.

Flasche gemeinsam mit McTapps verköstigt. Antrunk mit viel Kohlensäure und einem kleinen Hefeblock im Mund. Danach wird es irgendwie wässriger und beinahe geschmacklos. Die ganze Kohlensäure killt am Ende alles, was noch vom vorhandenen Geschmack übrig geblieben sein mag. Bah.

Bottle. Milky yellow-golden colour with steady head, medium body and steady carbonation. Taste of rich yeast, fresh hay, mild apples and dough. It is a very fresh and lively Hefeweizen which makes it really easy and nice to drink.

Bottle 50 cl, BBE 27.08.2013. Pours hazy pale golden in color with thick, creamy white head. Nice appearance. Strong wheat and hints of some banana in aroma. Chewy mouthfeel. Wheat, slightly sweet but not too much, as well as some banana in taste as well. Even some sourness and bitterness is detected in taste. Well balanced and easy to drink. Worked for me this one.

Hellgelbes Weizen mit feinporigem Schaum. Ein bananig und auch leicht citrusartiges Aroma. Eher dünner Antrunk, der aber sehr prickelnd und erfrischend ist. Lässt sich schnörkellos gut trinken, auch wenn ich deutlich Hefewürzigkeit im Geschmack vermisse. Eine Spur mehr Hopfen im Abgang hätte auch nicht geschadet. Weintrinker reden gern und oft vom leichten und unbeschwerten Genuß eines Sommerweins...beim Weißbier ist es definitiv das Zötler!

Hazed yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of clove and medium banana. Flavor mirrors aroma with no bitter.
