COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A noble Doppelbock, which with more than 7% alcohol and 18% wort belongs to the strongest beers in Bavaria. This specialty owes its color to the large amount of barley malt and its smoothness to the five-week lagering at 2 degrees Celsius. Strong and simply good!

Pours a dark amber brown colour with a white head. Aroma of sweet caramel, grass and some spiciness. Flavour of strong sweet malts, berries, grassy hops, hay and some bready notes. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and smooth malty finish with some sweetness. Unbalanced.

Aroma is quite malty with sugary notes, some raisins and berries. Flavour has lots of berries, malty notes and some chocolate. Very malty stuff and too much berries here.

Bottle, pours a deep brown with not much head and a musty nose with a faint hint of toasted caramel. Thick and syrupy body, fairly sweet, burnt sugar bitterness, faint hints of raisins and damp cellars, some cinder toffee notes emerging, along with a faint hop note in the finish. Decent enough, but just a bit too sweet.

Ein geradliniger, dennoch leicht süffiger und leicht mit Malzaromen versehener Bock, der zum Ende hin ganz schön leicht runtergeht. Gefährllich für diese Volumenprozent an Alkohol.

Deep ligth dark brown colour with low ehad and smooth body. Nose of malt. Taste of Bock-style beer: Dusty, deer, roasted malt, strong alcohol, cloves, old grains and dark bread. Easy to drink nevertheless but just not that fresh, refreshing or lively. Average Doppelbock....there are definitely better ones but also quite a lot worse.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Dark reddish brown color. Sweet aroma of raisiny caramel, dark bread, almonds. Sweet taste of dark bread, raisins, cocoa, toffee and dark caramel. Hint of metal in finish. Full body, feels a bit filling. Good dark bread taste.

500cl Bottle. Pours deep red/brown with a froathy, lasting beige head. Aroma of caramel, ripe fruits, brown sugar. Taste is malty sweet with a pleasant bitter finish. Body medium to full, texture is oily, soft carbonation. The nicest beer I’ve tried from this brewery
