A noble Doppelbock, which with more than 7% alcohol and 18% wort belongs to the strongest beers in Bavaria. This specialty owes its color to the large amount of barley malt and its smoothness to the five-week lagering at 2 degrees Celsius. Strong and simply good!

50cl bottle, thanks Beerhunter111! Pre Tuska OpenAir festival tasting. Dark brown, thin offwhite head. Dark bready malty aroma. Flavor has bready malt, molasses, mild sweetness, toasted malt. Alcohol nicely hidden. Decent.

500ml bottle. Clear, ruby red glowing, mahogany colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, tan dappled beige head. Dark malty aroma has notes of malt lozenge, rock sugar, caramel and spritz biscuits. Taste is bitter hoppy capped, the malt notes seem to be there but quite in a surpressed and undeveloped way, without space for an active game, sadly leading to a bitter almond accord. Has the field of excellence in optical range.

Bottle. Dark brown, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate to full, malty and sweetish aroma, caramel and light bread, light dark fruits and alcohol. Body is medium to full, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and light bread with faint dark fruits, light alcohol. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish, some caramel and faint bread, light - some alcohol. Sweetish doppelbock with caramel. 7,1% makes the finish bit drier. Finish has bit too much alcohol considering the body.

500ml Flasche. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr röstmalzig, fruchtig, Schokolade. Geschmack sehr röstmalzig, leicht fruchtig, dunkle Beeren, Schokolade.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass very dark, almost black, nice head. Starts intense malty, fine dry, modest roasty. A bit earthy with hints of liquorice. Finish a bit milder, well balanced. A good one!

0,5 l bottle. Darkest redbrown, nearly black in the glass. Small beige head. Dark berriefruits and malt on the nose. Tastes like dark chocolate with old medical caramel or burned plastic. Later berriefruits, alcoholic, light sweet sticky. I expected more.
