OleR (2008), Oslo, Norway Jan 9, 2009 Canned. Small, mostely lasting white head. Plain Pilsener-golden body. Sweetish, slightly perfumed malt aroma. Notes of artifical lemon and peppermint. A dryish, powdery malt flavor with some bready notes and touch of medicine. A good amount of bittering hops, quite stale actually. Skinny body. Short, dry malty and metallic fruity ending. joss (3632), Garching b. München, Germany Dec 3, 2008 Can. No nose. Golden, low lacing head, a single champagne pearl-chain. Tastes like licking an anode, metallic, light chemical retronasal. Weakbreasted. Watery finish. Gr0ve (1382), Oslo, Norway Oct 4, 2008 500 ml can. Pale golden colour. Medium-sized white head. Dry grainy malt aroma with a hint of minty hops. Light bodied. Dry malt flavours. Not too bitter, but there is quite a bit of bittering hops. They’re just not very sharp. Smooth carbonation and mellow malt flavours make the beer quite drinkable, without being particularly interesting in any way. ogivlado (3036), Zagreb, Croatia Sep 25, 2008 Canned(500ml). -Found somewhere in Plzen during RBESG2008.
Golden coloured, medium sized white head, corn nose. Weak malty and strong grainy (like n/a) taste with notes of cardboard and corn. Some metallic notes in the strong bitter finish. larsga (2937), Oslo, Norway Sep 24, 2008 Biggish very white shiny head. Yellow body. Grainy rubbery aroma with lemony notes. Dry lightly acidic grainy and rubbery taste with grassy peppery notes. Kind of thin body, but strangely that doesn’t matter. Dusty, mealy mouthfeel joins up nicely with the grassy peppery taste. Quite harmonic and clean. Hints of lemon. Fades into watery grassy nothing. For 3.5% this is quite good. (0.5l can, shop, Charlottenberg.) Doggythedog (1541), Split, Croatia Sep 23, 2008 0.5l can ogivlado got in Plzen and shared with me (thanks!) Poured a slightly pale golden colour with a small quickly disappearing head. The nose is vaguely reminiscent of n/a’s... honey, weak corn flakes. The taste unfortunately isn’t far off. Watery, notes of honey, biting carbonation, no real hop bitterness, but it provides some herbal notes. Damn light and more akin to a low alcohol beer that a 3.5% beer has any right to be. Ok but boring. asheft (1374), Marburg, Germany Aug 25, 2008 [bottle]
Grainy aroma with some weak noble hops. Anemic straw colour and clear. Very weak flavour, like a "small" beer but not astringent. Not offensive. Light body and watery with moderate carbonation. sirPino (855), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Aug 6, 2008 No 469

Can, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours bright and pale but golden shiny cristal - like and perfectly clear body texture, carbonation is gentle after fast initial decarbonation. Head is white, unstable, foamy and initially small, , quickly decreasing to minute and totally distinguishing after about 100 secodns. Rather no visible lacing.
Aroma: Very nice, clean and well balanced between characteristic and pronouncedgrainy malt, chewy, sweetish background and graphite, cardboard, chalky, mineral hoppy nose. Very clean and inviting to drinking being simple and classic, neither strong nor intense.
Flavour: Rather wattery mouthfeel, metalic, clean taste. Good quality water, low hoppyness manifesting itself in a clean body texture as being gently sparkling and bitter on palate. Pale grainy - malty accents. Simple and refreshing Bohemian Pilsener with short and a bit flat, clean finish.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is clean and metalic a bit.
