UPDATED: JUL 10, 2008 500ml can: consumed directly after the Branik. this was head and shoulders above it. A thin white head that is steadily carbonated medium - body that is easily drinkable and smooth but on the whole a bit uninteresting. Weak malt nose and a paler than expected body. A good session by any standard. A great deal for 90 cents on the train.

Canned. Pale golden. Brief, white head. Straw-aroma. Rather acidic. Light-bodied. Notes of a bready amltiness, but way too thin. Some hoppiness hiding in all the water.

pivnizub (7022) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUN 3, 2007
Can (purchased at Tesco’s, Pilsen): Golden coloured, slowly collapsing mid-sized white foam, visible carbonation; delicate nose of sweet pale malt with a delicate hoppy background; faint bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; short sweetish-grainy finish with a spoonful of bitterness in the aftertaste. Tastes like a diluted Bohemian Pilsener, is a diluted Bohemian Pilsener ! Nothing unpleasant detectable........
