Very dark color. Caramel aroma, burnt sugar. Good mouthfeel, with some sweetness, malt, a lot of caramel, good balancing bitterness. Equilibrated and enjoyable.

Bottled: Dark amber coloured. Clear. LIght chocolate brown and dense head. Medium lasting. Is sweet and malty with some fruit accents and a light sourness. The sourness isn’t unpleasant, its just not what I expected. Is sweet and chocolatish in the end. Not the most exciting dunkel I’ve had.

The colour is clear, dark brown with a hint of red, just like Coca-Cola. The foam is impressive, large and brownish, it dissolves slowly into a small white ring. A burned diacetyl-caramel note dominates the smell, but there are also hints of hops, coffee and some grass/straw. The carbonation is medium strong with small, lasting bubbles. Fresh! The taste got some pretty strong flavours of burned malt and diacetyl. The strong, somewhat dry bitterness fades into a mild maltiness with some notes of gravy. The aftertaste is surprisingly mild with a fine, malty bitterness that is accompanied by some sweetness and vegetable stock. This is a really nice and powerful dark lager. I liked it!

Bottle. Pretty light, but its OK, some licorice and roasted malt, easy drinking, soft and innofensive, quite malty and soft.

(Tapped) Dark reddish color with a large head. Faint, earthy aroma with some roasted malt. Sweet, caramel-syrupy oatmeal-porridge flavor. Light to medium-bodied, sugary and low-carbonated palate. A good looking dunkel, but unfortunately spoiled with excess sweetness for the quite watery body. Not well-balanced.

A deep red beer with a beutiful light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt and roasted bread. The flavor is of sweet caramel and roasted bread, but the body is thin.

Brown coloured. Fruity and malty aroma. Very thin flavour. Malty and dry. Quite boring and one dimensional.
