COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brown-black colored beer with thick, compact foam, known for higher fullness, good body and medium intensity of bitterness with delicate character. The characteristic feature is the aroma of roasted malt with bitter-sweet flavor lasting even after drinking.

Bottle. High creamy and long lasting light brown head. Hazy dark red brown body. Roasted barley malt aroma with a bit of caramel, rather weak though. Mild but pleasant roasted malt flavor without much hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste.

Bottle. Came at 3.8% abv. It pours dark brown with a medium off white head The aroma is tobacco, light roast and light caramel. The flavour is roasted malt, tobacco, caramel and some dusty hops.

Has a fine malt, heavy and perhaps a bit sour (lactic). Palate is medium to full. Aroma is malty too, not much hop. Not a schwarzbier and alcohol is 3,8.

Big beige head over deep dark red body. Milky, slightly rubbery aroma with velvety, lightly roasted notes. Taste is sweetish raspberry-like roasted malt, a tad watery. Aftertaste is burnt, chalky, and somewhat bitter. Not bad, but nothing too exciting, either. (0.5l bottle.)

Bottled 500ml. -Darker cola coloured, medium sized pale beige head, slightly vinous roasty nose. Moderate roasted malt, caramel and touch of tobacco with mild bitter coffee finish. A bit watery but considering ABV it’s expected.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2003.Very dark with a beautiful head. Some fresh hoparoma, but mostly sweet and burnt. Really fresh to be that dark with a smooth palate. Sweetish flavour and hints of some caramel.
