Skidds (127), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 19, 2007 ...I think this was the one I tried? Quite a hoppy and crisp brew. 6% alcohol packs a punch after 3-4 of them too.

Bottle brown, 500 ml, extract of wort 12,1%
Appearance: Pours nice deep golden, bright colour, very nice, shining, like for pilsener, body is sparkling, carbonation of body is medium, it is average and medium bodied. Head is initially big, snowy white, intense, light, frothy, slowly diminishing, giving no lacing. Body is transparent, clear, well filtered, body colour is nice but somehow giving a little impression of the beer being wattery.
Aroma: You can feel yeast with a rust and pipe water, mineral nose, hoppy and a bit citrusy fresh, only when you plunge into a beer deeper you can catch the maltyness of it, generally apart from yeast, alcohol, other aromas of malted barley, hops and citrusses like, lemon are only in hints. Rather faint aroma all in all. The head is mostly diminishing but here is still a little crown on the rim.
Flavour: Refreshing, cooling, watery, sparkling, hoppy nose again, some hints of bitterness on palate and some of malty sweetness. Initially moderate sweet and light bitter. Flavuor is mineral, salty, you can feel light carbonation on palate. Body texture is wattery to oily or watered oily, citrusy, lemon, soapy (some effect of bigger yeast content than in other mainstream Polish Premium Lagers of that type. Honey sweetness, a hint of barley grains. Really mineral due to strong carbonation.
Palate: Alcohol warmth, finish is short, chalky, light alcoholic, accidic from carbonation on palate. You can feel warmth through your throat but on the other hand beer goes easily. Finish is dry, chalky and bitter from hops.
Stefano (949), Esbjerg, Denmark May 8, 2008 Clear gold colour, poor head retention. The aroma is quite malty but nothing special. The flavor is sweet malt with a mild hop bite finish. There’s also a bit of a metallic touch to the finish as well.
