heavy (805), Split, Croatia Sep 4, 2009 1,5 l plastic bottle, thanks to Doggythedog for bringing it from Zagreb for me. It poured very nice, deep golden body medium sized, slightly yellow head. May be the most beautiful pilsener I’ve seen. Nice grass hops aroma, some buttery malt. Fine flavor, at first was a bit too sharp on those hops, but as palate gets used it’s pleasantly bitter with fine buttery and slight coffee malt. Relatively full body with pleasant bittersweet finish. Too bad it isn’t available a bit more around here, it would be fine cheap beer for beach parties or similar. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Sep 3, 2009 Bottle 33cl. @ home. [ Trade by Nightfall ]. Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, cabbage water, cardboard, paper, light notes chlorine. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. Flavor is cardboard and paper as the aroma is. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090721] bobinlondon (786), Harrow, Greater London, England Jul 31, 2009 Bottle from local indian off licence. Gold with a white head. Predominately sweet and malty with some diactyl. Could do with more hops. Nothing special. Cirrhosis (607), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Jun 10, 2009 "Beer looks gold with slight hints of brown comes with a one inch noisy cap and for a lager it had good retention looks pretty good for the style. Aroma is less then appealing consisting mainly of German style hops ( skunky apple ) very sweet smelling grainy malts and has a slight caramel aroma. I’m just not a fan of these European lagers to me they all just stink. Flavor is mild with the typical euro apple hop flavor dark sour malts and finishes with a mild bitterness that turns sweet in the after taste. Its drinkable but not a style of beer I enjoy. Brandman (94), Helsinki, Finland Mar 28, 2009 500 ml bottle. Golden colour, light head. Buttery, sweet aroma, hint of grass in it. Watery, buttery taste. When warming, little alcohol taste arises. Tastes like grass, too. rosenbergh (843), Helsinki, Finland Mar 25, 2009 500 ml bottle. From Estonia (H).
