| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 13, 2007 500ml bottle from BeersOfEurope. Grainy alcohol aroma with touches of wheat or lactic acid. There’s no wheat in the brew, but that’s the aroma. Firm, but not aggressive forced carbonation, initially tasting a little metallic, but that settles. Clean, slightly sweet malt, with a noticeable and pleasant hop bitterness in the swallow and long into the finish. This has a little more character than the average pale lager - the hop extract adds a spicy warmth, and that lactic aroma is quite inviting. A decent enough Czech lager. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 18, 2006 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of frothy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy with fine particulate orange colored body. The aroma was malty and yeasty. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Oct 29, 2006 Bottle. Small white head that mostly diminished, no lacing, visible carbonation, floaties, semi-hazy, and a yellow-golden hue. Nose was harsh and some hops and ditto for the flavor. Absolutely not to my liking at all. Tingly mouthfeel. Light-medium body. Not impressed at all with this one and I do not recommend. maeib (4777), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England

An old gold colourd lager with no head, The aroma is floral saaz hop with alittle creaminess. The taste is quite pleasant; again Saaz to the fore and a drinkable fullish body. The saaz isn’t overdone so the beer seems nicely balanced.
