2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Nice golden body topped with a thick but diminishing off-white frothy head. Average malty/hoppy aroma with some bready notes. Fresh hoppy taste with herbal and biscuity hints. Ends with a decent bitter finish. This is a pretty fair polish lager.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Frothy mostly lasting white head, wellow colour, thin aroma, very malty bredlike taste, average finish, soft carbonated, an ok premium lager.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle (500ml). Poured a slightly hazy gold, nice bubbling action, a large white foamy sticky-looking head that subsided like detergent. Aroma the usual euro pale lager - sour grainy, light stale hops, chemical-sweet malt, some anonymous fruit concentrate and dried flowers - a touch skunky on warming. I can’t decide if it tastes more metallic or fake-sugary sweet - elements of both with some sour vegetal notes, but it finishes on the harshly sweet side. Watery mouthfeel. Fairly easy to drink - I’d put it in the top third of the commercial StdIntlLagers I’ve tried - not as obnoxious as most.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle ABV 6.0% (BBE OCT 2005) (10/08/05). Bready malt aromas and grassy hops. Seems fairly well attenuated at first but sweetness builds considerably. Low bitterness. Slightly thin metallic finish.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Like the label.
Flat, gold and smells too sweet - almost like a carbonated juice that has been mixed with hops.
Having said that, a completely innocuous taste that leaves little lingering impression other than the need to burp.
Unmemorable, but unlike other Eastern European (read - "non-Czech") lagers, I wouldn’t say no to another one. Mind you, it is 90 degrees and humid today!

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
(500ml bottle) 5.8%. Pours a large, quick dissipating white head and a clear, lifeless golden body. Nose of a tinny corn can. Mildly fizzy, the flavour is thin corn malt and little else. Average.
