...I think this was the one I tried? Quite a hoppy and crisp brew. 6% alcohol packs a punch after 3-4 of them too.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2010 Pear Scent. Wheaty yellow pour with lots of head. Watery with a bit of herbs. Yellow coppery colour. Watery taste, a bit of bitter hops but mostly grainy. Somewhat oily with a synthetic aftertaste. Not so great.

UPDATED: AUG 23, 2007 A pretty typical premium lager the LCBO carries, that’s enjoyable, but somewhat indistinguishable from countless others (though there are a few gems within the selection). Still enjoyable though. Not a whole lot more to say about this one.

From a 500 ml. can, something that looks like a coded freshness date on the bottom, sampled in a lager glass. Your standard Euro golden lager appearance with a frothy white head that quickly settled into a thin lacing. Aromas of sweet grainy malts, herbs and veggies, minerals and a light metallic scent. Active carbonation, smooth medium bodied mouthfeel, sweet grain bready, a light grassiness as well, lemony with a soft herbal spiciness towards the end, some metallic flavors in the dry finish, pretty much your average Euro Pale/Strong Lager, the alcohol is barely noticeable, passable, decent drinkability, actually quite refreshing on this muggy July day.

I tried this beer on June 26, 2007 after purchasing from my local LCBO store. This was This beer pours a translucent medium golden colour with a thick white head that lasts longer than 10 seconds. The aroma is both grainy and malty, a pleasant combination. It is crisp and clean on the mouth like a lot of European lagers with slight hints of carbonation. The taste is malty and slightly better. Another beer I would recommend.

<Beer bought in a polish supermarket, they have a decent beer selection, but the styles are pretty much all the same> One of the better. Dusty hobby aroma with subdued alchohol notes. Flavor is wellbalanced, with both sweet and bitter notes comming through. Also has something acidic in there.

Orange colour and poured very flat. No carbonation and slightly malty.Left no lacing and very little aftertaste. Slightly above average but only just.
