3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Metallic grassy aroma becoming piney. Spritzy pour lining the glass with lace. Bread and popcorn, with a hint of hop bitterness. Crisp, sweet and clean-tasting. No bum notes here. Well- conditioned, enjoyable lager with a cereally-hoppy balance. Probably pumped with adjuncts, but if this was German or Belgian and listed as a Dortmunder, we’d all be singing its praises.

...I think this was the one I tried? Quite a hoppy and crisp brew. 6% alcohol packs a punch after 3-4 of them too.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2010 Pear Scent. Wheaty yellow pour with lots of head. Watery with a bit of herbs. Yellow coppery colour. Watery taste, a bit of bitter hops but mostly grainy. Somewhat oily with a synthetic aftertaste. Not so great.
