radiomgb (2466) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 7, 2006
Bottle from the <a href=http://www.lcbo.com target=blank>LCBO in Toronto. Light golden in colour, dissipating white head. The aroma was a bit on the stale side, some grains, crisp, pale malts. The flavour is bland and watery, grassy and clean. Mildly bitter mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation. Finishes with a long lingering light bitterness.

rauchbier (3652) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - NOV 12, 2005
Can, from High Spirits in Cleethorpes. Gold, good lasting white head and moderate condition. Faint malty nose with some metallic notes and a hint of almond as it warms. Initially soft in the mouth with a developing nuttiness and a building hop bitterness that dominates the finish, although some fruitiness shines through.

rederic (3203) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 9, 2005
Bright golden hue, with a foamy white head, sweet toasty grains, pale malt, and light hop aroma follows through on a medium-biodied palate with a sweet toasty pale malt, caramelized malt, straw accent, with a low expression of bitterness on the finish. Standard east-european lager.

(can)Goldenyellow, white head. Gassy, slightly malty nose. Has a soft mouthfeel , but the vague malttaste urns acidic. Nice carbonation makes it a soft finish.

Looks like your average, everyday golden lager. The aroma, unfortunately, doesn’t even make an average grade, offering unpleasant notes of rain water and steel. Some mild, sugary sweetness and malt exists in the flavour, but overall this is a very meek beer. Not recommended.

Ungstrup (30009) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 23, 2005
An orange beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet malty with some hints of hops, while the flavor is plainly sweet malty - hard to pick up the hops.
Earlier Rating: 11/1/2004 Total Score: 2.5
A golden beer with a fine white head. The aroma is simply sweet malty. The flavor is sweet malty, but with hints of sourness from brewing cereal as well as caramel. The stronger alcohol content than an average pilsener is recognizable without being too much. The brewing cereal draws it slightly down from the average pilsener.

wnp22 (685) - Toronto (Roncesvalles Village), Ontario, CANADA - OCT 20, 2005
Tasted in Toronto. Obtained from LCBO. Tasted in dimpled mug. Appearance is medium yellow, possibly golden. Thin white head lasts for only seconds, before subsiding into a performance of nothingness. Grainy / grassy aroma with hints of sugary sweetness. Flavour is malty, but thin and ends with a definitive sickly bitterness.

Canned, which to be fair doesn’t give the beer much of a chance but either way you look at it, this beer was not going to be top of the pops.
