Sparkling pale golden appearance with a little bit of quickly dissipitating foam. The nose is fresh smelling with hints of straw and fruit. A fairly standard lager with some nice fruity undertones, slightly sweet and malty with very little hop presence in the finish.

(bottle) Pale golden colour with a medium foamy white head. Malty aroma with hints of vegetables and grassy hops. Smooth and soft carbonation but quite unexciting taste of malts with light hoppy finish. Anyway drinkable.

A decent lager I supposse, poured almost no faom the disaapeared fast, minimal lacing. A tinge of sweetness in the finsin, not bad, but not great either.

1/2 liter euro bottle. Pours a darker yellow-gold color, meagre head that leaves quickly...still lightly laces the glass. Nose-wise you get sweet malty grains and light grass smells but a very sneaky light vegital note ( is there some corn in this brew??) Sweet and malty up front... light citrus hopping sits in the background in the medium body makes this a malt biased lager, with a wet biscuity finish only slightly attenuated by light hopping...normally I’d be in malt head’s bliss with this beer except for one thing...an annoying funky sweet-vegital taste that lurks just below the malt profile...my thinking is there was a little corn ( 10%?) in the mash to get the ABV up to 5.8%. Too bad, that ruins an otherwise malty lager.

The bison is back with a new look! For some reason, the alcohol content here is 5.8%. The beer has a nice golden colour and a dissapating white bubbly head. Smell of sulfur and light malt. Rather average dry malty taste, with chalky astringent mouthfeel. The hops are still fairly present, but dissipate quickly. Medium body. Not so new beer at LCBO.

Golden colour with fairly big white head. Aroma is malty with some fruity sweetness. Flavor is malty with hints of bread, finish is more on the sweet side.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2005 Deep golden color with a frothy white head that quickly diminished to ring. The slight aromas were honey and Polish hops. Light toffee malts within an overall sweet flavor. Not bad.
