Żubr has a full body consisting of medium sweetness and smooth bitterness. A pleasant hoppy aroma combined with an accent of caramel. 12P

500ml can from a Polish supermarket in Ashford. Gold colour with thin white head. Bit of cardboard on a lager malt aroma. Slightly ugly. Some bite on end. Metallic and nasty. The metallic, almost artificiality of the beer is nasty, especially on the finish.

The hops used in this brew smell very sharp, permeating the aroma and leave a negative impression from the start. Dark golden body with a thick, quickly dissipating white head of two fingers. Well balanced bitterness and sweetness in this beer. The barley malt (and corn??) used must have been exceptionally sweet to counter those pungent hops! To the mouth, this brew is somewhat thin and the finish is nonexistent... Weird. Maybe those hops paralyzed my tastebuds. Drink this one VERY cold.

A golden pour with a very thin head; the aroma is of hops...noble hops, maybe? Palate is a bit on the sharp side...it’s got the daggers in my tongue. The flavour is that repetitive lager taste, premium or not...some mild malt tempered with what one hopes is hops. This was a gift (if one can call it that) for the holidays. Thank goodness. I understand why I’ve never bought this before. Now on to the other easteurolagers my inlaws saw fit to give me...

A standard lager with notes of malty aroma and metallic grassy bitterness. Good for the lawn!

500ml bottle, in wroclaw poland. pours nice with a decent head that unfortunately disappears fast. nice fresh hoppy aroma. Boring taste, not much excitement in the mouth. Definitely not the greatest here, but then again, there aren’t too many polish lagers that i’d classify as "drinkable". grab the porter that is sitting next to this in the store, there is no reason to punish yourself with bad beer in poland.

Canned(500ml). -Just another boring and average Polish lager. Clear golden coloured, small white head. Malty sweet aroma with nice hoppy notes. Not so pleasant metallic bitter finish.

500 mL bottle. 5.8 %. Orangey-yellow with minimal. Aroma of grasses, with something sweet and maybe nutty. (I’ve got a cold). Taste is metallic, flat on the tongue. There is also some bitterness, but not in a good way. Sweetens as it warms. Not one I’ll try again.

Straw, small white head. Aroma of hops, sweetness. Flavour is sweet. Sweetness carries to palate. Slightly carbonated, harsh hops.

Light copper in colour with high carbonation. Aromas of sweet pale malts, spicy hops, and a bit of black pepper. Sweet and lightly toasted malts on the palate, followed up by some grassy and herbal hops, and a bit of caramel. Medium bodied with some corse bitterness to balance things out. A very average Eastern European lager, although it did finish fairly clean for its strength.

Bottled. Typical Eastern Euro style lager with dull sweetness and bready notes, soft carbonation and simple flavour. Nothin’ special.
